Lol good call. Otherwise we'll be in Wednesday thread all day.
Just having breakfast and getting C ready for school. Then going to the gym. That's all my plans for today. Probably some cleaning. Lol such an exciting life.

Back in the office today. I have a couple meetings but not much else going on. The most exciting thing I have to do is pick a new laptop and schedule IT to do the transfer. The new laptop is going to have Windows 10 so I'm not looking forward to that.

I'm here. I am drinking coffee while the boys eat breakfast. Two of my best friends are pregnant currently, one is due in like a week and the other one finds out today what she is having. I am super excited!
I just ordered a birthday gift for the birthday party on Sunday. She said not to worry about bringing a gift but I felt weird going to a kids birthday party empty handed so I ordered him this superhero game on amazon. I keep asking B if he wants to go to the party and he keeps saying No. Sorry to disappoint kid but we are going.

I got a horrible migraine last night. My vision went blurry 3 times. Usually it's just once and then I get the headache. At 9:30 I had to lay in my bed in the dark.
Today I get to stare at the computer screen all day...

It currently feels like I'm being hit on the side of my head with a hammer. Good times.

What I'd really like to do is take some hydrocodone and drink some wine, because that usually makes my head feel better. But that's probably frowned upon at work.

Lol little dog is lost and is laying on me because there are no other dogs for her to lay on! I’ll have to go back and get the other two dogs later today so I’m not worried about the nap!

Sometimes I get them before I'm going to start my period but sometimes I don't. I just finished my cycle a week ago. I got one Saturday while running errands too. It seems like they're coming more frequently than they used to. A long time ago I was on Lexapro in order to reduce the # of migraines. I took it about 9 months and never had a migraine while on it. But then I stopped it because I didn't like the idea of having to take something every day in order to prevent them. Fast forward to the last couple of months researching cyclic vomiting syndrome for M and now I'm thinking about giving it another try. Lol.

It's snowing here again. Make it stop. Here too. Been snowing since DH left yesterday morning. Fucker only had to shovel once in 6 weeks, and it was only like 5 inches so nothing worth talking about anyway.

This probably won't stick around for too long, it's not that cold out. But there are a couple inches on the ground.

Not huge amounts, but it is still cold here so it'll all stick, which means shovelling every day so it doesn't pile up.

I have been spiraling on migraine related articles while I eat my lunch... I’m sorry you haven’t found your cause. I get them so rarely, and even then it’s like the world is ending... I don’t know how you function. And nothing helps when I do get one, except OCCASIONALLY a very strong coffee and shutting all the lights. I’d love to know what the underlying sensitivity is to.

My MIL said she got them every time she ate nuts and chocolate. She also said they stopped once she went through menopause. Only a few more years to go for us... One of my friends used to get them when she was dehydrated. My BIL found his was caused by aspartame in his drinks and the gum he used to chew. Once he quit that, he's never gotten another one. Mine could be hormonal, could be stress, could be the universe just wanting to shit on me. The options are endless.

So I'm a little annoyed at DS1's preschool. We got a note from his teacher yesterday that said "We are working on social skills in class by building block towers and then asking if they can knock down the towers. Jonah is knocking down towers without asking". Like... Ok? I mean obviously that's a dick move, but also what can I do about this at home? That seems to be something that needs to be corrected in the moment. I'll still talk to him about not knocking down towers but at the same time, they're having the kids build towers so they can be knocked down. He's missing a big step there by not asking first, but also that seems to be the entire point of that specific exercise.

Pretty much! Not sure why that warranted a note home. And I'm also shaking my head because he was bit by another kid in class last week. I got a call from the nurse letting me know about it. The bite didn't break the skin but it left a very obvious mark (which was kind of scary since he was wearing a pretty thick sweater that day). I didn't get a note home from the teacher about that, I don't even know what caused the altercation in the first place. Apparently getting bit in class doesn't warrant a note home but not mastering their social skill exercise on the first try does.
