I read an article yesterday that said the shoot for the big battle was so grueling (cold, mostly night filming) that the cast and crew started calling it "The Long Night".
I can't fucking wait.

I did read somewhere that GRRM scoffed and mentioned that this "doesn't have a happy ending" so I'm just assuming everyone dies.

So many thoughts watching the trailer.
I'm thrilled to see Tormund alive as I just love him.
Cersei, sitting all alone on the Iron Throne, drinking whine. Is she laughing or crying? Who can say?
Is that Dany and Jon getting ready to mount Drogon and Rhaegal at the 1:23 mark? As excited as I am to see that happen, it still seems so wrong that there are only two dragons and yes, I'm still sad about Viserion's death.
The battle at Winterfell is going to be epic. So many of my faves coming together to save the realm, but yet, I can't shake the feeling that so, so many of them are going to die and am reminded of George's words, through asshole Ramsey, "if you think this is going to have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention."
Finally, I'm not ready for this to be over.

"And when your tears have drowned you, the Valonqar (little brother) shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you." It could be Tyrion but it would be bittersweet for it to be Jaime. |

AHHHHHHH!!! I’m dying, I cannot wait for this! MH and I are rewatching all previous seasons in preparation. I think the death that would hit me the hardest would be Brienne or Sam. I fully expect Jon to be reluctantly sitting on the Iron Throne at the end of it all.

I've already watched the trailer 3 times! We're currently in S6 of our rewatch and I'm relistening to Binge Mode as we go along. It's funny how much I missed the first time watching because I was still trying to figure out names and locations. So excited for this season!!

We've already watched it twice, but I think we'll be starting from season 2 or 3 and rewatch again. We just restarted the whole thing again and are just about done season 2. I keep yelling at the tv trying to tell them things and they don’t listen. |
