These are two solid episodes, be ready to cry, especially episode 5. oh dear  thanks for the warning! Last episode I cried at was when Stannis’ daughter died so I’m due for another cry I suppose. The further I get the harder I am finding it to not read ahead. Like this is killing me not being able to read about what episode 5 is about now lol just need to wait another 7-8 hours...must be strong haha That episode was one of the hardest. She was so pure and good. |

So funny story - but not as funny as that vet sign.
The first time I watched the season I was really not paying attention. Doing laundry or something probably. Anyways I said something about the show to a friend of mine and she was like “oh it’s so good but they almost lost me with Princess Shireen” and I was like “why? What happened?”
I somehow missed the whole thing with her! I was horrified when I went back and watched.
That and Walda’s baby and the baby in the brothel at the beginning - just, I can’t. Awful.

So here’s my theory for part of it: Danny kills Samwell’s brother and father, leaving Sam as Lord Tarly. But that’s only applicable if Sam is no longer in the Night’s Watch. But if the Night King is defeated, the Night’s Watch would probably disband. And Jon could make Sam a warden. So with that backwards thinking, I think that Jon and Sam survive. Who knows about the rest.

Cersei seems to actually be doing me a solid and saving Margaery from that dungeon. I will see it when I believe it but maybe she will redeem herself a bit to me. I love Margaery!
That last scene with Dany in the flames again, wow!
And here I go to what you have said is a sad episode 5....

So I just want to make sure I am thinking of this correctly. So those little tree people that were in that tree created the white walkers? Like they put a stick in that guy in a tree and that’s probably the first white walker then? Obviously they didn’t realize what they were making since they then got destroyed in that hold the door scene... but is that the gist of it, that they created them by some sort of magic or whatever?

Just watched this episode. This scene - goosebumps everytime. That is one of the greatest scenes of the series. Even before she has Drogon roast that master, the look on his face and everyone's face during this little exchange was just priceless: Master, speaking Valyrian, whines to Missandei "Tell this bitch her beast won't come." Then Dany, speaking now in Valyerian (and now he knows she's understood every.single.word he has been saying about her), replies: "A dragon is not a slave."   You bet your ass she does. |

Hodor is hold the door 😭😭😭😭 you ladies weren’t lying 😥 Seriously one of the hardest character deaths. It is too much for me. Hodor and Shireen were the only non-creature deaths that made me cry. I save most of my tears for direwolves and dragons. Ned was shocking (I was unspoiled/non-book reader when I watched S1) but damn, he was dumb. Robb wasn't a shock because I had read Books 1-3 before S3 aired. He was so pretty, but yeah, dumb. Catelyn was dead to me when she treated Jon like shit (including admitting she had wanted him to die of the pox). Rickon had been offscreen for so long and I knew he was a goner once he was in Ramsey's clutches. |
