Our stove vent pops up from our island and blows into the crawl space. That seems odd to me so I never ever use it. I think that's what my in law's vent does, too.

I didn’t know it was there for months after we bought the house until I was deep cleaning one day and hit the button hard on the countertop. Scared the daylights out of me.

I think I’m confusing the delivery people with my mass orders that have been coming to the house at the same time a ginormous dumpster is sitting in front of the garage. But, with this last delivery I should be able to finish up the finishing touches on the big girl room and nurser and all the bathrooms and bedrooms have new towels, sheets, and comforters. The best.

We installed digital thermostats yesterday. All seemed good until this morning our room was cold. DH checked the thermostat and when he took it off noticed the wires were loose. So he fixed them and I reset everything. Well now our room is a fucking sauna. I assumed it was just heat from the house. Us doing extra laundry, both boys had showers etc, and itd start cooling down. Nope. Our room keeps getting hotter and hotter despite the temperature being set significantly lower. We just argued for 10 minutes before I could convince him to take the damn thing off the wall again. I'm going to lose my mind if this doesn't fix it. I now have zero faith in these things. And might end up checkimg the boys rooms throughout the night....

Our house kept randomly getting hot... turns out H didn’t know how to work it and set the temp to be higher every other day. Once he figured out how to work it then it was fine.

We went to a bounce house on Sunday and before M even had her shoes off I turned to H and told him I had a feeling she was going to be getting sick this week.
3 am....first stomach flu. She just finally fell back to sleep after throwing up every 15 minutes for over two hours straight. Poor thing was so scared.
Please, someone have a morning cocktail for me.

Poor M!! cookswithwine I triple checked all the settings. I definitely have it programmed correctly (and the settings match every other room and they are fine). DH called his friend who is an electrician, and it said it could be a faulty one and to swap it with one from a different room to test it. I...... am not comfortable doing that myself.... So I have to figure out if someone can help me.. We slept with the window open last night. And I got up approximately 80 times to check the boys rooms because I was paranoid theirs would go wonky too.

I was going to ask if it’s an HVAC person or an electrician you call. That sort of stuff is so far out of my wheelhouse.

Do you mind me asking what the medicine is? At my last visit the midwife told me to triple up on my Zantac if my nausea starts to come back. I’m taking it for heartburn now and usually take it to help boost my allergy medicine so I was surprised it worked for nausea and vomiting too.
