Morning ladies! I hope you're feeling better this morning chrisy01 ! Evie has had a loose tooth for a week now. I don't know how it's still in her mouth, it is barely hanging on. H keeps trying to help her pull it, but she freaks out and says it hurts. I've had to tell him numerous times, it's her tooth and her mouth, she will take it out when she's ready. Cadence's first one was lose for what seemed like forever. She wouldn't let me touch it once it was super wiggly. Then one day she just walked up to me and said, hey, I pulled out my tooth. The 2nd one had a shorter wiggle time once she realized it didn't hurt pulling it out.

mwhip we are in the process of renewing but with the new contract, we won’t be able to sell most of what we currently sell, and i make 75% of my income selling these products, which has built up over 5 years. So I’ll be taking a huge hit and barely paying for daycare.

wedding My Ob does the same when I've had a YI...so annoying. I know what it is, quit wasting my time and just give me what I need to feel better! Also, on the Groupon, would the company extend the offer since it is out of your control? I've had them work with me before when the Groupon demand was more than they anticipated. slenle That's exciting about the potential to stay home. Is there a chance the contract will be renewed? They were to expire 3/25 and he extended it to 3/30 so I can get one car done. He said he would extend it into April but all Saturdays were booked so we would need to do a weekday. Hopefully I can find one that DH will be home but we are both traveling this month so it's going to be difficult.

Very annoying. I loathe insurance companies. Right? Like why the hell do I have insurance if you're just going to deny stuff that is needed? So annoying! I feel your pain! Can the doctor resubmit it with new verbiage justifying it? Slap a different "diagnosis" to it? With our 2 things that were recently denied...one dr is very straight laced and wouldn't reword anything or change the diagnosis to fit the insurance requirements. Which I understand...but frustrating because she obviously felt the med would help her. But the other dr is younger and I felt more...passionate...about everything and doing what has to be done to get the end result. So he reworded the request and it got approved the 2nd time. #anecdote

Cadence has requested that I teach her how to do her own ponytails. I'm wondering who can learn faster, her or mh.

Cadence has requested that I teach her how to do her own ponytails. I'm wondering who can learn faster, her or mh. Lol! MH is terrible at doing Sierra's hair. He usually puts it in pigtails but they are not cute pigtails. But last week he stayed home with her and took her to the dr when she was sick. On the way home he stopped in at his buddy's barber shop to say hi. He asked MH if he did her hair with an egg beater (it was in a regular ponytail, but awful). Then told MH to put her in the chair. He fixed it for her. When I got home from work I made the silent observation that her ponytail was kinda cute and I was impressed that MH did that. It wasn't until the next day that he told me about his buddy the barber (who also has a daughter) fixing it. Lol.

Morning! Sorry about the insurance stuff tgrimes. I hope it gets worked out, maybe it can be re-coded and re-submitted. Stuff like that is always a time suck. B went back to school, somewhat begrudgingly. He slept late but said/seemed to be feeling much better until I mentioned school. Once he got some breakfast in him and I reminded him about golf starting tmrw, though, he perked up. Which is good, bc DH is flying today and I was not looking forward to being trapped at home again with a not-really still sick kid.

Such good choices, flamingo! I love those dino eggs. We got a double pack of them two summers ago, and we still have six left. well four now, as we just opened two more of them yesterday! The Jurassic World toys look great. It would combine his love of all things wheels with dinosaurs! Thanks!!

You know, I thought Cadence would be too old to be in the same soccer class as the 3s, but clearly I was wrong. They are all running around kicking soccer balls and she's off to the side cradling the stuffed tiger "mascot". I knew she only wanted to be in soccer for that damn tiger!

Good luck with your insurance, tgrimes. FX they just need additional records or something that’s a simple fix. I agree with PPs that depending on the justification they give for denial, I would ask them to reprocess. If that doesn’t work, definitely go through appeals.

Morning.
X has OT this morning.
I’m doing more batch cooking for P, straightening up the house, and pretending to work.
It’s our slow season right now and trying to appear busy is almost as exhausting as actually being busy.
I need to learn Spanish. Maybe I’ll do some online course to kill time and hope my brain absorbs something useful.

Love all the book choices! Thanks, girls! I ordered that one @nam and I’m hoping to make it to Target this weekend (my BIL is coming to visit for the which means I am happy to run out on my own for a handful of hours while MH and him catch up with the kids.)

guster Maddie just didn't get the balance bike--at all. She was faster walking than on that thing. They are really small and don't convert to regular bikes. She did much better with a scooter. I know they are great for some kids, but definitely not mine. Madison is the worst about loosing teeth. It's solid dramatics for at least an hour before it's out even when it's hanging by a thread. It takes for.ev.er. Yet she whines about it nonstop because of course it hurts when your tooth is really loose and you try to eat or it gets bumped. Hopefully Cass will be better, but I doubt it. I'm sorry for the insurance BS tgrimes. Grr. I'm frustrated for you wedding.

Charlie tries Josie scooter often and can’t really get much momentum on it so I know will be waiting on that until at least the summer but probably Christmas of next year. He does uses the trike as if it were a balance bike, so I had hoped for it. I lf I do buy one I think I might just buy a mid priced one so he has something to play with this spring and summer on the trails.

guster Not sure what kind of scooter you already have, but we got B a Globber scooter the Christmas right after he turned three and he did really well with it right away. C is learning to use it now. The wheels are pretty chunky and it's a 3-wheeler, so obviously easier to balance/control. Just a thought if you only have a 2-wheeler now. We never did the balance bike, either. I wasn't really sold on it and like inthekitty said, felt like B was too big for it by the time it would have been age-appropriate.

I’m getting closer to finishing that little book nook space. Two pieces are fully painted. I want to pick up a rug. Do you guys like any of these? I want round because everything is very angular up here. But I don’t know if I should stay lighter or more vibrant and within the cool color scheme or work with a complementary color?

Sierra’s babysitter called and said her son was sent home from school puking. So I made arrangements to leave work earlier to pick her up after school. Then school called and S has the 💩. I’m really hoping that puking isn’t on the agenda too. 😩 I’m on my way to get her now.

I like the vintage rug too guster and like the idea of some fun colors to pop against the navy/teal. Poor S lfig. We just went through the poos are our house too. The girls didn't really understand the concept that when you feel like, that it may be more than a fart, so we went through a lot of underwear. tgrimes no need to hang your head in shame regarding the term histrionic. I try not to use psych speak although that unfortunate term and all that goes along with it and "personality disorder" comes up a lot in my personal life as well.

Maybe if I had more patience, but the few times she tried it just awkwardly shuffling along with it at a snail's pace was painful.

The Lion King is coming here this summer and I was tentatively planning to take B. I was thinking if we went to a matinee there would probably be other kids there, too.
