Hi!
Busy morning for me. Not too much work, but I’ve been adulting like a boss. Lol. For a Monday, I’m in a good mood, and I’m trying to keep it up.
Scheduled the inspection and talked to one lender. I have to talk to another to see how we fare there, but so far I’m leaning toward the one I already talked to. I go down to see the house this Friday.

Hey. DH stayed home from work today so he brought H to school and I didn’t have to go out in the cold (3, feels like -19). S watched frozen while I cleaned and DH was lazy. Now all 3 of them are either napping or having quiet time and I get to sit.
I hope everyone is feeling better soon!

I really want B to feel better. A, because he's miserable. B, because he is like a grown man when he gets sick. A bit dramatic, loses all self-sufficiency, whiny, etc. He just asked for food, I gave him a rundown of options that might be ok to try eating, made his pick, and now he doesn't want it.  I feel terrible saying this. Clearly I was not cut out to be a nurse. Ha! My friend who has kids our kids ages.. the older son had a stomach bug and insisted on being carried around the house and was a horrible patient. Meanwhile his 2 year old sister was acting normal despite throwing up periodically. Yes. That is mine exactly. Granted, C hasn't been sick much, but even the broken leg(!) was a non-issue. It would have been a much bigger 'thing' for B, I think. |

My psychiatrists office calls at noon to tell me she is out for the day so we needed to cancel my 3:30. Snow was plowed by 9am so I am pretty annoyed. I asked the receptionist if she could message her and ask her to call me back since I left a message last week that I never got a call back from. She only works at this office 1 day a week and her other office is an hour away so I can't get in for another two weeks.

klong11 I would love to teach all N13 kids and siblings  Maybe the break will do her some good and she can get back into it! .... or maybe she does need to try someone else at the school eventually. Feel better chrisy01!!!

Just got a call from the elementary school. They no longer have the Spanish dual language program and did I want her in the Vietnamese one instead. Nope, I'll just teach her Spanish on my own.

I'd pass too. They offer Spanish, French, and Mandarin in our county. We are only applying to the French one bc our local school hosts it. If it were the Mandarin one at our school, I think I'd pass though since I would really have no clue of what's going on. I have some basic french knowledge (sad it's that low since I took french for 12 years), so I'm hoping I'd be able to help with homework maybe. |

Oh my. I just met someone for drinks who’s from the states and my English was rusty 😳. I’m writing it’s fine (I think 🤔) but talking for four hours is something different! It was fun though!

Is he still vomiting flamingo ? How is Mr. Flamingo doing? Mr. Flamingo seems much better, just a bit draggy. He worked a normal day today. B hasn't vomited since last night, just super lethargic and whiny today. I'm sure part of his problem is that he's weak from not eating much in the last 40+ hours. Fortunately he's drinking a lot so I'm not too worried. He's eaten a bit this afternoon so hopefully we're on the downhill. Thanks for asking |

Quick hi. Colin had no school and daycare opened late. It was the first day back to work since M resigned and our place guy just wasn't showing, so ultimately I put the truck in 4wd and drove through 8 inches of snow to get to the office. It was insanity. Lots of panicking by people not even on our teams and constant reminders that M's visibility was to my own detriment. But I had a lot of productive meetings with the teams and that's what is most important right now.
I also went to the office without my boot for the first time, and I don't feel any differently at the end of the day. So at least THAT is an unmitigated success.

C is not off until 7 kids both have to be picked up by 6. I’ll most likely get home at 630, 7 if I pick up dinner. So it looks like I’ll be picking up dinner.

Forgot to mention whatever I have triggered a cluster headache if I manage/treat the cluster headache the illness/cold symptoms get worse. Which I don’t understand since it’s Vicodin and Motrin. But now I sit here with a higher fever and my stomach feel yucky.

Since it was so cold today we left the 3 dogs inside. 2 of them downstairs in the basement in crates (the puppy, Streak - and Joe the coon hound). Java is our mama dog who is great, so she got to roam upstairs. We left at 7:30 this morning and didn’t get home till 6 this evening.
Well, Java did great upstairs on the loose. No accidents, and only chewed on 1 little toy.
Streak, the puppy, on the other hand. He chewed through the soft sided kennel. It looks like a crime scene in the basement. Lots of dog bed stuffing everywhere. Multiple pee and poop piles. Chewed electric cords (they weren’t plugged in), and random items scattered all about. 😬. Joe the coon hound just rested all day and minded his own business in his crate.
