On Netflix, who’s watching?
I’ve watched and cried with the first two episodes. It’s hilarious and so well done. Hits way too close to home, hence the tears.
The workplace stuff is so infuriating. Well done, but god damn, I want to strangle the patriarchy.

Tell me more. Is it a scripted show? Yes, scripted. The description reads: Four very different thirty-something working mothers and friends try to balance their jobs, family life and love life. Short and sweet 30 min eps They tackle going back to work, getting pregnant again by accident after baby is 8mos, pp depression, pumping at work, maternity leave being up and not wanting to return to work but having to work bc money, etc...

Overall I enjoyed it though and found it a relatable comedy.

Glad to see a thread for this show, I have enjoyed it since it first came out! It’s on season 3 in Canada so I won’t really post much since I think Netflix only has season 1 in the US?

I enjoyed it. I don't find any of the characters particularly likeable tho, nor do I relate to them. I liked Giselle the most lol. I lol'd quite a few times, and cried at the mental health stuff. I enjoyed it.

I'm a 4 episodes deep and enjoying it! It has some good comedy moments and some poignant stuff, and I totally agree that the characters are relatively unlikeable, but I liked it overall.

I've watched 3 episodes I think. I'm really enjoying it. I unexpectedly cried the first couple of episodes. I was not expecting it to take the turns it did. I was all funny hahaha and then BAM crying. But everything makes me cry these days so.

Just started. I did not like Kate at all when she was on Blackish, but I'm loving her in this show

I'm on episode 6. I like it. I didn't realize it was a non Netflix show. I could tell Canada from the mat leave length.

I’m not that impressed by the show. Oops. I’m on episode 6 or so. I’ll finish but meh. I do enjoy the opening of each show with the mom group! That part makes me laugh. I also like Anne.
What city are they in? I’m sorry, Canada. I should recognize the skyline but I don’t.

I enjoyed it. I related a little too well with the mental health stuff. Which was both cathartic and unnerving.

Oh nvm I see it is a Netflix original. Netflix calls everything a Netflix original. It says Great British Baking Show is a Netflix original, which it is definitely not. I guess because netflix is the only one streaming it in the US?

Is the second season available somewhere? it will be coming to Netflix this spring, just not sure when exactly. I know s2 and s3 are on the CBC app, but not sure if you can get from the US? Might need a VPN or whatever they are called.

I tried watching this when it first came out but couldn’t get into it. I started again this week and am finding myself relating a little too well to a couple of the characters, especially Anne with her not a warm fuzzy mom issues. And the PPD stuff, oooff yes

The main character was also Maureen Ponderosa on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

I was watching last night and in an early episode some guy on the elevator actually says something about her “strange mouth” which I thought was funny and it’s cute she can kind of throw that in the show.
