The coat on Meghan made me cringe because that poor vintage fabric is being stretched to its limit. It’s really a gorgeous coat and the color looked lovely on her.
I feel like someone else has said this before but I wish she had embraced maternity wear a bit more not just for her own appearance but because it totally would have inspired more fashionable maternity choices. Like that one H&M maternity dress? Totally a look I would buy if I have a second.

UO: I can see it. I'm sure Meghan is itching to get her IG and blog back. At least her IG because what fun is there to being a princess if nobody gets to see snippets behind the curtain. How can she capitalize on motherhood, if all her mothering will be behind closed doors. (How many speculate that Kate doesn't do as much leg work as KP wants projected?) Looking at Eugenie, because she's not an official working Royal, she gets to post a little bit more liberally but still go to the fancy events. Spotlight what charities she chooses to spotlight. I’m sure she wants all of that, but the family shouldn’t have to bankroll the lifestyle for them to be “part time.” I don't really believe the story but I think it would make sense for the family to offer them the same deal they gave Will and Kate: to be "part time" royals for the first few years of their marriage and and raising their kids so they can get used to it out of the public eye. I hope for her sake that Meghan takes as long of a maternity leave as she wants. If other women in England take up to a year, she should feel like she can too.

You’re getting this because I love them sharing the car blanket.

I don't get the impression the Queen and Kate are especially close.

I know it is cold, but I just can't get behind the dark thick black tights and thick black shoes together. I do love Gray and black together though so she gets points there

In Catherine Walker. I like her look - the dress fits really well, and the hat is cute. The only thing is that it does come off a bit young/sweet - to me. Nonetheless, she looks great, and I like it.

I don't get the impression the Queen and Kate are especially close. It’s possible. I can tell Kate is taking special care to follow all the rules, actual protocols, be professional as possible. She’s being especially careful to not walk in front of the Queen.

I agree with all of that, but that doesn’t sound like what they’re asking for. (All assuming the article is accurate, which, who knows)

Mostly what I get from those photos is how absolutely tiny QEII is.

I should've married a Prince.
Yes, I will go and visit your business/museum/whatever and you can tell me all about it.
I know there's more to it. I know some of their charities would be heartbreaking to visit. Most days though, I think I could swing it. Then I'd head home to my palace and wait for my Prince to get home. I'm super into steeping loose leaf tea lately. I'd fit right in.

Love that grey dress on Kate, with the pointy collar. But the shoes take it overly prim. Some heeled tall boots or even booties would have edged it out a bit. Love the Queen's black accents.

The Queen looks lovely today. I love the dusty pink color and the flowers on her hat are pretty.
Kate's look is a win in my book. It isn't plastered in buttons and the cut plus the hat are a fresher, younger look which she should do more often.

The collar is exceptional. I also love it. I agree about the shoes! Though, I don't think an edgier shoe would work with that ridiculous hat. Also, kind of dislike the belt only b/c it takes away from the collar detail.
