I'm team "no repeats" on Kate's gowns. I mean, she has unlimited resources and these events are so fancy. I want to see something new! Do other celebs repeat red carpet dresses? Newp.
Victoria Beckham looks like she's doing a walk of shame. Hook Up's clothes that are four sizes too big, and last night's stripper heels.

Other celebrities aren't spending the tax payers money though so yes Kate has to be conscientious to a point on that. |

Plus like ArielMermaid, said why when you could show off that you can still wear a gown 8 years and 3 kids later and still look good And unlike Meghan, Kate never had her own money to start with so whatever she’s spending is coming out of the royal account. The younger royals have also been tasked with being more relatable and strutting out a new $10k gown every few weeks isn’t going to achieve that. |

That blue Jenny Packham (otherwise known as the blue version of jaidit's wedding dress) deserved a second chance to shine. I'm all about the repeats. She also waits long enough that it isn't boring. It's not like she wore it a few months ago. |

I get why Kate repeats and yes, it's the smart, environmentally and fiscally responsible thing to do. I just like seeing all the shiny things that I can't have.
Kind of like when people "complain" about the scarcity of tiara events.
