I can't find a system that I love for decorating my monthly view. I use it for an overview of appointments and then transfer them to the weekly views.
Show me what you do!

I'm on summer break so I'm using mine for meal planning. I've been slacking and it's shown. No excuses now

I use mine for appointments/deadlines/pre-scheduling and then transfer to my weekly to-do as needed. At the beginning of the year, I go through and note reminders for payments (insurance, car registrations, passport & DL expirations, etc.) as well as other recurring dates -- like my housecleaning weeks (DH will not remember to vacuum if I don't schedule it), yard poisoning weeks (we have a rock garden, but still need to poison regularly), and all birthdays/anniversaries.
At the end of the year, I only keep the monthly pages, so I transfer any important notes/recurring dates to them before I changeover to the new year.

I use mine to keep track of my monthly goals and any events going on (which I transfer to my weekly view as week)

cdnfroggy, I like having monthly goals on the side like that! My monthlies are used for keeping track of bills and paydays, so it's mostly ink. But I do put some washi on the bottoms of the boxes sometimes.

I just finished my July monthly! My goals will have a color code that I'll put on each date that I manage to accomplish if. For example: 'read each day for 10 minutes' will have a purple box in the left bottom corner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
