You girls kill me. I mean, I still might go, but only for the company of the friend who is attending, not because I want to see the Doobie Brothers. Said friend is almost my mom’s age so I guess it makes sense. I should ask if he wants to take her instead. So you are calling me and flamingo old?   |

My mom’s cousin briefly dated Elvis in his early years. That’s all I got. No Allman Bros. connections. Oh, and I’m distantly related to some of Lynyrd Skynyrd 😂
In other news, I just sent out a bookclub invite for next month when I host. I took the bull by the horns and said I was providing all the food (normally it seems to be potluck). This may be a UO with the bookclub but I think sometimes it is nice to be invited to a function where everything is provided and you don’t have to show up with a dish.

I have no famous musician connections that I can think of.. Hank Aaron did come to my house when we rented it out to his family for his nephews graduation. I barely knew who he was, but did get invited over to meet him.

In other news... I finally got my taxes filed. tgrimes I caved and put all that shit in again to get my discounts. 😑 Other than that I’m just over here in survival mode. My ILs are due in Thursday, so I have two nights to get the house somewhat presentable. |
