I was the only one in the office for the afternoon and the rest of the businesses in our building didn't open today so I decided to WFH this afternoon. Which really means laundry and started to pack!

I survived the vet with the dog and 2 kids and DH just landed. Then it started snowing and DS and 8 other kids someone missed the bus home so I slipped and slid across town to pick them up. Then my sister called that she had to take her oldest to the ER for chest pain because urgent care can’t figure out what’s wrong with him so I have my other nephews. Gymnastics is closed but hockey is still on. I’m delaying C’s nap so he can hopefully sleep when my mom comes to stay with these kids while I go to hockey.

They've got commitments the next couple weekends and they're going to Italy at the end of March for their 40th anniversary, and then we have stuff in April. Maybe this is a FFWC but I am sitting here crying; I know this is a FWP, but this weather has been getting to me and I was so looking forward to having them come and just kind of break up the winter a bit, do some shopping with my mom, etc. Bradley has been asking me about 5x a day for the last week when they'll be here so now I have to tell him. Ugh. |

flamingo I am sorry, that's the worst. I'm not close with my parents, but I definitely feel you on the weather getting to you. It's been brutal and it makes total sense that you were looking forward to something to break it up. I would cry too.

It’s my parents 40 dating anniversary today (they’re not married, because hello ‘70...). I got them a little set to recreate their first date, the vinyl they played, one of those suitcase record players, ‘70 glasses and wodka & orange juice. I also found some pics from the early days and had them printed. They loved it  . |

Hi Ladies, just now checking in. H went into the office today and I was annoyed with him, so I am happy to gave the house to myself. After a morning of running around to preschool, Target and the pet store, I finally have some downtime while the kids and the dog nap. I plan to do nothing productive.

I'm so sorry, flamingo. I'm used to seeing my parents every few weeks, and I'm starting to realize how hard it's going to be once they're gone. No FWP, I'd be crying too. |

We are heading back from X's evals. They recommended speech and PT twice a week for each.
He's going to continue with his once weekly OT.
Best part? Social and emotional development is where they want it to be, so there was no recommendation for ABA. I'm feeling very relieved about that.

Thanks, y’all, for the hair-pats and sympathy. Bradley cried when I told him, too—guess he takes after his mother!
So I just found out there’s a pre-K night at our elementary school *tonight*. I’m not sure if I’m living under a rock, or what (possible, although I’ve been on the lookout for info on this event and even called the school a couple weeks ago). Luckily we don’t have any obligations and can go. Looks like Kindergarten is officially getting real!

My ILs were supposed to come at the beginning of this month and each weeks it’s something different.
