I decorated and got cards for the kids last night. Mh left early so he missed out on opening them🤷. I guess I will get him a card today, but he's kind of irking me lately with his lackluster reaction re #3 and seems to be pouting and will say something rude whenever I complain about the kids..like "and you think adding another is a good idea." He is on thin ice.. That's annoying. Not like he didn't have a part in the creation process! He knows this and has sad he's not blaming me, and was more excited at first than me. He says he's just overwhelmed with costs for college, working longer, worried about how we will get everyone where they need to be. I'm team we will figure it out and he better get on board ASAP. |

Hope they can help you get something to start feeling better, klong11. You look gorgeous, mwhip! And that necklace is cute. He did good. tallb yeah, irksome for sure! Have you guys had much of a chance to talk about how either of you are feeling with the new baby on the way? |

Has anyone bought or used the Osmo Genius Kit or any items related to Osmo? I was thinking about getting one for M, but I have questions.

Soooo much better. Our date night in plans are canceled, but I’m just glad that it doesn’t feel like there is an elephant on my chest anymore. |

Happy Valentine's Day ladies. The kids are still out of school. I'm assuming their classes will celebrate Valentine's next week. At this point I'll be annoyed if they have school tomorrow because they've been out all week. We might go somewhere as a family tomorrow since MH and I have the day off. I have a little something I'll give to the kids tonight (bought extra stocking stuffer items at Christmas for Valentine's and Easter). I don't have too much to do at work today so I plan to be lazy and finish Yummy Mummies (it's barely tolerable). Way to go Mr. mwhip! |

I didn’t get Pete anything.
I’ve been doing the hearts on the door for the kids and tonight I’m making them heart shaped M&M pancakes. And they have little boxes of treats I got them.
Pete bought me K Beauty stuff and an adorable new Ho dress. He knows the way to my heart is skincare and slutwear.

Good morning. We got to sleep in a bit because we had kinder registration today. It was really just dropping off paperwork and I was disappointed that the orientation isn't until August because I want my questions answered now! At work with not a ton to do. Tonight we are having our "feast" which is heart shaped pancakes. C insists we have a feast. He told me this morning that his girlfriend can't make it because she has plans but may come over after. Too funny! Can you call the school and ask them if you can schedule a visit? It’s what I’m doing tomorrow since there are a few different schools in the county we are looking at moving. I could but its really just my anxiety. I have been at the school a handful of times before and know the layout so its really just a walk through of their day that I want. I also want to know who is in his class and which teacher so I know if any of his current friends are there and if my neighbor has intel on the teacher. I just need to calm the eff down really. |

I was originally looking at the Monster createive kit. Now it's $50. But in the comments it says you should get the genius kit (because it has more games & stuff : $79 now) and just use a regular white board for the monster game. |

I had the kids try on their crocs to get ready for vacation. N’s size 9 she was wearing last summer are too small so I measured and she needs a 13! I should probably check the rest of her shoes.

This year my H told me in advance the new bed was Valentine’s and anniversary, ha. (Ftr, I am not complaining!) In a very un-Flamingo move, I ordered something pretty/a little bit racy from Nordstrom and wrapped that up for mH. So technically it’s for me but let’s be real, it’s for him. I’m perfectly happy in my usual tailored pjs 😂 |

Thanks! I think this is the same price it was around Christmas. I just checked the camel website and it was $59 4 days ago. I probably would have bought it at that price and saved it for later. I may put a price tracker on it. |

When I called to ask some questions about registration I asked about when the tour/information session would be. They couldn't tell me. Thank goodness for that! Sorry he's doing the same thing, it has to be a phase right? FWIW, I think this is normal and Pete has had an easier time adjusting than I did. I think it’s a guy thing where they immediately go to all the planning and financial calculations whereas it is a little easier, generally, for us to just shrug and say that it will all work out. I do notice Pete getting stuck in his head a lot and it’s almost always money related stress, and it sounds like that’s the case with your H, too. I would encourage him to talk about it as much as possible. We have each other, and IRL girlfriends to be our sounding board, but I don’t think most men have the same kinds of outlets and they just start acting grumpy rather than tip their hand that they’re feeling worried or stressed. |
