We just got a counter offer. We probably would have accepted it last night but now today I have rearranged my thoughts and started going in another directions so I don’t know what to do now.

How long do you have before you counter? Take your time making a decision, this is a big decision and not to be rushed. |

peachsmama I totally agree he should have apologized to you and its total bullshit. Unfortunately, with the industry you are working in, you will have to get used to it. Women are not that common in the trucking world, especially not in a power position. Drivers also are a different breed. I am in no way condoning his behavior...I've just worked in plenty of male dominated industries. Oh I know. My dad keeps telling me this is just how truckers are. Well they can be like that with each other. I am a firm believer in you teach people how to treat you. I'm not going to be yelled at just because they work for us. I write your paycheck, be nice to me damn it! My dads afraid if I get hateful back, he will quit. Ges worked for us since July and we've loaned him over 8K. Hes never going to Find another employer that is going to do that. we loaned him money to get him started. money to get fuel, money to pay his plates, money for Christmas. My dad is just to damn nice. |

We had such a smooth transaction when we bought our house -- we offered, buyer accepted, done -- that I tend to forget these transactions can be so fraught with delays, counter offers, etc. kim22. Definitely do what's right for your family. These people took their time, you take yours. |

I got my golf cart suuuuuper stuck trying to feed my ponies. Then we took the four wheeler to splash in puddles. Ran out of gas.. gave the boys baths and ran out of hot water. I'm just going to go to bed now....

My parents didn’t want to drive in the snow to babysit so I stayed home from our meeting. I don’t mind. I’ll put the kids to bed and Netflix.
Everything in town closed early tonight, i don’t know why the meeting isn’t postponed. I’m sure the turnout won’t be great.
And preschool is cancelled again tomorrow. She’s only had school 6 out of the last 12 school days (MWF). Is it spring yet?

MH is saint to put up with my craziness. Somebody posted in our town’s fb page that someone closed down the gas station today because they drove off with the nozzle still attached to their car. I was there today, and I didn’t remember putting the nozzle or my gas cap back on, and I just freaked out that it might have been me, and, in the haste of my afternoon errands, never noticed the resistance of having the pump attached as I tried to drive off . Not only did mh listen to this lunacy (once over text, then when I called down the hall to tell him in person), but went to the garage to check my car.
No surprise, it’s all fine.

The ninja class we go to on Sundays is changing their times to an hour earlier which would mean getting up by 7:30 at the latest to get there in time. We decided to cancel our membership and will do drop in if we happen to be up. I’m annoyed and really loved having C in parkour, but it’s probably for the best since he has karate twice a week and will be doing baseball in a few months too. Maybe when he’s older we can join up again.

The sellers had moved out of state and the house had been sitting empty/on the market for 6 months. They put their offer in and *all of a sudden* there was another offer on the table. Riiiight. They held fast and ended up getting the house for even less than their initial offer. Our realtor doesn't play  |

My friend picked M up after nap and she says they went on a date. Lol. They just went to get some food and he was in good spirits. He is still really congested and coughing a bit, but seems to be overall feeling better, so fingers crossed the worst is behind us.

I have a deadline at work I'm supposed to complete something this week. So instead I've gone through 2 months of emails I have tagged to respond to. I finished week 5 day 2 swim workout this morning and E did awesome with swim lessons tonight. I'm desperately waiting for my garmin watch to arrive but it is being shipped by donkey from mwhip's town. I don't understand how it can take 3 days for the 5hr drive! |

Our realtor doesn't play Does your realtor do Mississippi? I like her style...lol Ha, she is FROM Mississippi! She moved to N. FL about 30 years ago, though. So funny story, she has probably helped buy/sell about 15 houses for my extended family in that area. My parents were trying to sell their house during the early '90s and their first realtor wasn't getting it done. My dad called the biggest agency in town and said he wanted "a pit bull". And the agency owner was like, Well then you want XYZ. We have not bothered with anyone else since. She has this lovely southern accent and is so polished and chic, but underneath she is all business. I do not know what we will do when she retires, guess we better get it right with our next house! |
