Tlex, I liked for the healthy size but HOLY SHIT to scarlet fever. I hope you are spared. You've had way too many trips to the doctor already (didn't you have a bead/nose situation too???) You will meet baby so soon though, eeeee!

No scarlet fever/strep! We’re just yucky sick, but hopefully a few more days of rest will do the trick. I just have to accept that I’m bringing a baby home during cold and flu season and he has two siblings in preschool. We’re gonna have germs.

I had my US and another NST today. Baby girl looks great, and is measuring a bit ahead. They estimate she weighs 5lbs 2oz! She was doing a lot of practice breathing, which was neat to see. She has her arm in front of her face, so we only got to see the top half.

I'm 33 weeks. My fundal height was measured at 36/37 weeks. OB said don't panic, but...that's what I do best. She ran through the worst case scenarios at my request and they seemed manageable. Might be extra fluid, might be big baby, might be baby sitting weird, might need to induce early or do a c section, might be nothing.
I'm going for an ultra sound next week to see what's up.

Hopefully nothing! I have been measuring about 5-6 weeks ahead, he is indeed a big baby. And he likes to be high up in my ribs. I didn’t realize only first babies tend to drop really low early. A lot of doctors don’t even measure the mother’s stomach anymore, it’s considered pretty old school.

Yogurt, hopefully it's nothing. With DD I had something really similar, and it turned out to be a combo of a wee bit of extra fluid, she was tracking bigger, and the skill of the person(s) measuring. I'm glad they are following up, but try not to worry. (I know easier said than done.) ❤

Weeks pregnant/Due date: 36+3
Baby is the size of a: bunch of grapes
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM Ds1 6 years old Ds2 3.75 years old
Team: green
Appointments: Tuesday. I'm at every week appointments
Symptoms: exhausted despite sleeping well at night, extreme pelvis pain that makes it hard to move, especially by the end of the day.
Milestones: The midwives dropped off all of their supplies this week. We did a trial run of the birth tub and we are ready to rock and roll any time after Monday
Rants/Raves/Vents: on wednesday I am going for a 90 minute massage to a woman who specializes in prenatal massage. I'm psyched about that.
Yesterday I was a dummy for the local midwifery school that I'm delivering with. The students were testing by doing mock appointments on me. The assessor was a midwife I had never met, but she had to feel my belly to know if they were giving correct answers. She said "woah, no wonder you're uncomfortable, I cant even feel a head just shoulders." Baby is engaged and ready to rock.. I am too!
GTKY - Are you doing anything special for Valentine's day? If we dont have a baby next Friday we will go out for one last date night. Not really valentines related.

@photomama13 since you’re the only other one here who is team green, any feelings on if baby is a boy or girl? Have you been team green for all of your kids?

@photomama13 since you’re the only other one here who is team green, any feelings on if baby is a boy or girl? Have you been team green for all of your kids? We have been team green for all 3 babies. I am totally counting on it being a boy. I dont want to get my hopes up for a girl. I was right with DS1 but wrong with DS2. BUT everything about this pregnancy has been different than my other two. This baby has been way easier on me physically. Its sitting WAY lower. I was hormonal as heck earlier this time and never was like that with my boys. Basically I dont know if I think it's a girl or i just want it to be one, but I'm preparing for a boy. Do you have any feeling boy or girl?

I lean more toward thinking it’s a boy but then I started having more girl dreams the past few weeks so now back to not sure. I will be surprised either way!

I was so sure D2 was a boy because it was a night and day pregnancy from D1, it had to be. But no! BUT.... this pregnancy has been totally different from theirs in its own way so i don’t discount that as a way of telling! And I am carrying so differently from where I carried them. People (old people) stop me everywhere to tell me it’s a boy and I love their gleeful smiles when I get to tell them you bet it is. Lol. The girls I really did carry low and soooo wide. This boy is a straight out basketball and my bump seems to start above my ribs even. I don’t look pregnant from behind, I didn’t get a fat face, my hair got nicer instead of worse, skin didn’t break out like it did with the girls, and I was sooooo much sicker for much longer (although I hear that’s usually a girl symptom but for me it was just “different”).
I think it’s fascinating that the same woman and partner can have 3 totally different pregnancies. I would have thought before that how you pregnant is how you pregnant, if that makes sense.
