trtlcrzy sorry for the rough night. I hope your work day goes fast and you get a peaceful nap later. tgrimes I hope H is feeling better today. snoopmommymom you and your Hs communication skills sound very similar to ours. Except eventually we slowly start talking and move on. It sucks and I'm sorry for your rough weekend. H is still in bed. Hes been complaining that everytime he eats, he has to run to the bathroom, so I figured he needed the rest. I need to clean up the house a bit today, but no plans. We are boycotting the superbowl, like won't even turn it on. We might go look at sofas a Nebraska Furniture Mart today. But more just to get out of the house.

S is still constipated. She hasn’t gone since a tiny little bit on Thursday when she had trouble. I have gave her milk of magnesia 2x a day since then and still nothing. Also drinking prune juice and white grape juice. So if she doesn’t go today I think I may need to call the dr tomorrow. I don’t want her to get impacted.

My MIL said H had a rough night. His fever would spike over 103 every couple of hours and he threw up 3 times. They went downstairs at 7 and he at a muffin, drank some milk and is now running around chasing M.
I guess If his temp goes up again I should probably go get them before my SIL gets over there since she’s pregnant.
Of course MH is going to a friend’s house to watch the game.

Morning.
DH and I have both been nursing colds and today mine seems to have moved into my head/sinuses or something. Bleh.
DH just left to do grocery shopping and this afternoon we had planned to take the kids to the zoo since it’s decent out. He offered to take them solo so I could stay home and rest. Trying to decide if I am going to stay home or suck it up and go.
No big Super Bowl plans for us, we’ll watch and I’m rooting for the Rams I guess (team AnyoneButThePats). I prefer college football and it’s hard for me to muster much enthusiasm for the NFL.

MH is taking E and SD to lunch and froyo today and in going to get my 3rd workout in. I found our my work gives an awesome discount on Garmin watches but I'm not sure if I should just go with a fitbit for the same price. Do people really use their smart watches for app stuff?

I'm a bit sore from TKD yesterday. I was practicing spin and hook kicks and my body hasn't moved like that since I was in elementary school.
Last night was fun. We played Cranium with the adults. The boys played video games and the girls made mincemeat out of my yarn playing games with it.
Today I'm going to an escape room and because I'm a geek I'm excited.

H will be 3 in April and n is already getting him excited since she loves birthdays so much. He says he wants an eagle birthday. As in bald eagle. No idea where he got that idea, but Pinterest is lacking in bald eagle birthday party ideas. I suggested a few other ideas, but nope, it’s gotta be eagle.
So I’m thinking I could do a “camping” theme and throw in some bald eagles into the decorations. Lol.
But I shouldn’t get too ahead of myself, I’m sure the minute I figure it all out, he’ll change his mind to dinosaurs or something.

DH went to do the shopping and left both boys home with me. They are nuts. If he includes having to do the shopping solo as one of the hardships of my ankle again, I may be forced to kill him, haha.

slenle I’m laughing at a bald eagle theme but that would be hilarious. ‘Merica! Some friends of ours’ little boys loved chickens at that age so they had a chicken themed party with CFA nuggets and an egg hunt, lol. If you ask B his favorite animal he’ll say ‘falcon’, which cracks us up bc it’s so random.

My friends have a garmin watch and love them. I think they say they’re more accurate. If you want a Fitbit that has apps and stuff, that would be the versa. |

Since the age of having a laptop during all my classes in college my attention span has gone way down. An now with a smart phone it’s even worse. I struggle to sit still through a whole movie. Learning how to cope with and embrace “boring times” is an important life skill. |

Yuck, tgrimes! Were the kids supposed to stay all day? We go over there on sundays anyway. So I was going to head over there after I finish laundry and help cook dinner. Apparently he’s down for a nap and seems fine. She said if that changes she’ll let me know. |

I opted to skip the zoo and stay home. This cold is kicking my butt. I’m getting some laundry done and then hopefully I can nap.
DH has some work-travel coming up so it’s good that he can spend some quality time with the kids (and thankfully the weather cooperated.)

I got up and ran to the grocery so I could watch my nephews for a few hours for my sil. She should be here in 30 minutes and thank God. I'm ready to put my boys down for a nap and have some peace.. 4 boys trapped inside are loud. And my older nephew wont listen so theres been lots of screaming and time outs.
A is going to a party later and my mil is coming over to watch the game with me and my mom and the boys. I've got good snacks and bought stuff for ice cream sundaes for the boys.
And my nephew just snacked J in the face.....

Mh just took Cadence to his Dad's for a bit. He's leaving at 4 for the evening, so it's nice that I get a little quiet time first.
We didn't finish the movie last night. I may finish it by myself later today.

Not a lot, but he’s hardly eating. I mean today’s total was a small bread roll, a break stick, half a an apple; after that he threw up. He then had a mini cup cake, a few pieces of watermelon and another bread stick 🤷🏼♀️. |
