thelittleredm Adorable pictures!! TashaLa what pacifiers have you tried so far? DD1 took mam and took it from day one no problems so that’s all I had for A thinking she’d also take one no problems. I’m continuing to learn how different each baby really is! A refused the NB mam for two weeks, I tried at least once or twice a day almost every day since she was born. Yesterday we bought the 0-3mo advent Soothies and it took a couple tries but she likes them! Yay! Hope you’re able to find one that S likes!

Thanks for the tips ladies! I’ll start trying.
She doesn’t seem to like the soothie, at all. She’ll tolerate the Advent, but the one I have may be too big? I have to basically hold it in her mouth or she spits it out.
I plan to go to Buy buy baby today to pick up a few to try

Thanks for the tips ladies! I’ll start trying. She doesn’t seem to like the soothie, at all. She’ll tolerate the Advent, but the one I have may be too big? I have to basically hold it in her mouth or she spits it out. I plan to go to Buy buy baby today to pick up a few to try We've been lucky that baby likes the Phillips Avent soothie 0-3 months, but he still has trouble hanging onto it. We have a wubnub, they have that same paci, and it works great for sleep time because the little stuffed animal can kind of prop it to stay in better until he falls asleep. However I honestly don't know if that counts as sids risk so please don't leave a wubnub with a sleeping baby unless you make sure it's considered safe! We just tried it once and have decided to try taking away the paci before leaving him in his crib to sleep, of he fusses and senses it close he wakes himself trying to get it. We tried the pulling it away thing to limited success, but I found he really likes when I push the to of my finger into the front of it so he gets the sensation of sucking the nipple with a bit of my finger in it... He calms really fast and then seems to hang onto it better after I remove my finger.

thelittleredm Gorgeous pictures! I’m going to take a page out of TashaLa’s book today and walk around the mall. I forgot about Nordstrom’s amazing nursing lounge, and it’s in the same area as B&BW. If nothing else, it’ll be good to stretch my legs and restock my candle supply.

Thank you, everyone! strawberrykiki, We used my sister-in-law for our photographer this time around and I'm pretty sure that's why we have such a fast turn around for sneak peeks. With DS2, it took a bit longer to get them.

A had her tongue and lip tie revised last Thursday and has been nursing well. We’ve got her 3 week weight check today (2w 5d) and really hoping she’s gained a few oz since her last appointment!

H told me he’s going to take a nap as I was several hours into cluster-feeding DD2. I did not react well at all. Ugh.

A’s weight check went well today. She’s 8lbs 3.5oz so 2.5oz past her birth weight and gained 9.5oz in 8 days. I’m so proud!
@amc that meme is 100% accurate. It’s so tough watching MH peacefully STTN while I’m up nursing what feels like half the night!

So baby's calves are super super bow legged. We were really worried until the pediatrician said every baby is born that way, I guess from their position in the womb. Is this everyone's experience?

hrh I hope she comes soon on her own! I know it’s frustrating waiting and worrying about the baby. I’m glad they’re giving you a decent amount of time for her to come on her own! I was lucky to get to 39 and 5. They wanted to induce me at 39 exactly. 😑

Hi ladies. I’m sorry I haven’t been around much. I’m here trying to catch up quickly before running out to get DS1 from school.
I’m struggling pretty badly. MH and I both are dealing with PPD. I left my PP appointment on Monday with a prescription for Zoloft but it apparently takes time to kick in. In the meantime things are pretty bad here.
Did we ever talk about starting a FB group or something else private? I would like to post more about this stuff but I don’t love putting it all out on a totally public forum. Should I start a separate thread?

Big hugs dashook. Realizing you need help and asking for it is big. Hope the meds kick in soon. I'd be open to a FB group as well. My N12 and S15 are there and it is nice to know it is private.

hrh Still thinking of you, lady! Hopefully you won’t even need that induction date because she’ll be here already. dashook Many hugs to you and YH. I hope that the meds do their thing soon, and I’m happy that you were open with your doc about how you’re feeling. I would also be on board with a private FB group.

I'm down for a FB group! I'll message you k. dashook, Have you used Zoloft in the past? That's what they gave me after DS1 and I found it so relieving when the was enough in my system to be noticeable. Good luck!

I would be up for an FB group as well.
Dh left Sunday night for his trip. Luckily I've had family coming to help. Ds3 had been on the same eating/nap schedule for a couple weeks and Monday morning decided to throw it out the window. He's sleeping a bit better at night though, so I'll take it.
