I am ::: shocked ::: that they are not up late arguing about how to put together IKEA furniture. This is my zen. DH knows to leave me alone unless I need a set of hands on a big project. |

Knew I had seen Jurnee Smollett-Bell in something random before. She was on an episode of House. Sorry, carry on. She was also on Full House as a child. And True Blood as an adult. |

I think I’m sympathetic to people ruining their lives. Like when some video goes viral of someone being wasted on a plane or fighting on the street, I think they’re an asshole but I’m also sympathetic that for the rest of their life, when you google them, some moment in time will follow them. It doesn’t mean I think they’re right or should be forgiven. Just, coming from years of really bad decisions, I’m SO thankful none of them affect me today. Thats kinda how I feel about Jussie. Yes! I think I (maybe we, I don’t know how old you are) grew up in that sweet spot of having a beeper/cell phone but no smart phones. My indiscretions are ancient history, especially since MySpace is no longer in use. |

My friend is in Montana and Jennifer Garner bought her (and many others) coffee at the café she was hanging out in. I hope she passed on to Jen that I think she's much better off without Ben.

Is anyone watching Dating Around on Netflix? It's odd but amusing. Nothing will ever come close to Blind Date which was the best dating show ever, but this is entertaining.

Same. Are you Italian? We hold grudges for life. You go to a funeral and you see all these relatives you haven’t seen in years and some of that shit is over fights about salt and pepper shakers (I’m serious). We’re intense. I mean ... my sister is still dead to me. There are layers to it, but me not talking to her for a year was the jumping off point. Yes my dad’s side, remember? We’re northern Italian and thus in a fight with you, always, unless it’s Italians against everyone else. Then we’re ride or die. MY LYFE. The grudges my grandma had with her sisters... |

I don’t know if it’s an Irish thing but my family doesn’t do the dead to me thing and instead holds lifetime grudges while being nice to the persons face and telling everyone else how they slighted you thirty years ago. My mom is still mad at her sisters for taking stuff when their mom died, although my mom was there and could have spoken up. Instead it’s “she has the nerve to think I wouldn’t want it!” Sometimes these petty Betty things come out with drinking but usually they just bubble under the surface for a lifetime. My MIL is part Italian and does the dead to me thing like no other. It’s impressive really. Imagine being Italian and Irish and having these two conflicting sides. I tend to stick with the Irish goodbye and the Italian silent treatment. The less people I talk to, the better. |
