I started the cute hearts on the door thing I think guster??, mentioned. They looove it and C decorated our door this evening, so sweet. |

I need some help. I foolishly bought H a pair of light pink sneakers which she has gotten mud on. I just washed in the machine and the stains are still there. Does anyone have a miracle stain removal idea? These are the shoes so you can see the fabric. www.amazon.com/dp/B0716XHJPT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_PVmvCbN2H9SP0Have you tried oxyclean? That’s my go to for all stains. Maybe pre soak them before washing. That was my thought, too, trtlcrzy. B got his Nikes dirty this week (like, filthy...mud soaked through to his socks) and I soaked them in Oxyclean and hot water. They looked brand new after 30 minutes. |

I’ve got them soaking in a mixture of water, detergent, baking soda and oxyclean. I will wash them again in like 20 mins and hope for the best. |

snoopmommymom This is my dad's recipe and if I do say so myself, it makes very good chili: 2 lbs. ground beef, cooked and drained 3 cans chili or kidney beans 3 cans petite diced tomatoes 2 onions, diced 1 small can diced jalapeños 2 packets chili seasoning (I use McCormicks) Combine ingredients and cook on low for 3 hours on stove, or 6-8 hours in CrockPot on low. (When it's just the 4 of us, I roughly half this recipe and it makes enough for 2 meals). eta: I also use this to make chicken chili, just sub in chicken for beef and use great northern beans instead.

I am tapped out. This week has drained me. MH should be on his way, but will be in just after bedtime. I’ll let M stay up, but M2 is going to bed soon.

I cancelled my chiropractor appointment for Wednesday because it was so cold. I rescheduled for next Wednesday and I don't know if I'm going to make it that long. I'm full on limping at this point because of my right hip.

Tough talks between us and the ex about who's paying what for SD college. We are covering all her tuition but then the ex is asking how we are going to split the housing. B we told you 7 years ago what we were contributing. Apparently she hasn't put aside anything for college and was relying on grandparents. Thankfully she doesn't actually think we are going to split the extra costs but come on! Maybe only take 1 trip to Disney a year.
