C woke up at 2:30 in the morning wanting his iPad and proceeded to come back in every half hour or so with Valentine’s Day cards for Dh. I slept through most of it. Dh then took a long shower and left me with no hot water. So bad moods all around. C is asleep now and I’m dreading waking him for school but I need to soon.
I know you all hate the Patriots but it’s where I live so our work is having s four hour tailgate party today. I don’t sport but I do eat and like games so it will be fun I think. Hoping to leave around 3 and then we have a parent teacher conference.

So I was looking at tents on the Walmart website and ended up on target... it is seriously good for my wallet I do not have one around here. The pillowfort and sweet jojo collection 😍😍😍.

C was a crying mess when I woke him up because he didn't have time to play before leaving. Dude, you played all night. I think I am going to buy him a digital clock and make a picture of 6am so he knows when it is ok to leave his room. The ok to wake clock failed but maybe this will work a bit? I was trying to get him to stay in his room until the sun came up but in the winter we are often out the door before the sun comes up so that doesn't work.

We got snow over night and the roads are horrendous so schools are closed. M is not happy. At all! Me either. I'm tired of being house bound.. if it clears up later I might take them bowling just to get out of the house for s bit.

B has school today, I don’t know what C and I will do but it probably involves housework. I was not overly productive yesterday while the kids were away so I’ll have to play catch-up today.

Morning. The kids slept fine, but still won’t eat. Ds always needs a few days to get back to his normal eating pattern and dd just copies him. I don’t do well when deviating from my normal routine and I can’t wait for the kids to be better and things to be back to normal.

Morning! Rough night for me as well. Colin had a nightmare just as I was falling asleep and DH handled it because he didn't want me to crutch down the hallway all groggy. I appreciate it but the poor kiddo was sobbing and only half awake - he didn't need someone to reason with him, he needed a HUG. I feel bad commenting because DH has been doing so much, but it made me so sad. Then I woke up to pee at 3:30 and since I have to crutch to the bathroom, it tends to really wake me up. Plus I thought it was Saturday and only realized my mistake once I'd returned to bed, which didn't help me get back to sleep. And then the dreams... I was at a wedding and kept leaving a half-dressed Chase in his carseat with the windows down. In the summer. And I got mad that people were judging me. Then there was the dream where I was getting the boys and myself nose jobs, and ultimately decided I'd wait on Chase because he was so little, we weren't sure yet what his nose looked like. But Colin was still a go. Um, wut? Anyhow I'm psyched for the weekend because this week has felt so long. I think Chase and I are going to do some Valentines crafts tomorrow while DH takes Colin skiing. And we have plans for apps for dinner on Sunday for the Superbowl. Last year I did football shaped brownies, but we haven't decided if that's in the plans this time around - at least not the size I made them last time! Also I now want a red lab. Damn DH and his allergies.  |

I have almost 300 pages of opinions to read today, so that's fun.
My sciatic nerve is giving me issues today. It's a literal pain in the butt, with shooting pain down into my thigh. Awesome.
Hoping the day passes quickly.

Figaro just brought in a bird that was still chirping!!!!! I've fed him twice already this morning. Why is he so mean? And why are these birds so dumb and slow? You have wings! The cat doesnt!

Morning! M had his play/concert this morning. It was Valentine’s themed and so cute! He did so well. I was nervous because he has been a little anxious about it since they started practicing. His teacher talked him through it and it helped. Gosh, I will miss this school.
He was a grouch after though. I told him if he did well, he would get a treat. Well he thought he was getting that treat immediately and I didn’t have it. So he didn’t want to take any pictures even though I promised him ice cream later.

So happy it's Friday! Sorry for all of you who had rough nights!
We have nothing planned for this weekend, the Super Bowl is boycotted in our house, so I have no idea what we will be doing. It's supposed to be almost 60, so something outside hopefully!

Good morning!! I came in to work at 600 to pay some bills and to get RMAs for some broken circuit boards. Well accounts payable closed my purchase order for no reason. And I can open up an RMA without knowing which key boxes the circuit boards came from. The tech comes in soon but I wasted 90 minutes on the phone and got nothing done 🤦♀️

Morning! I’m so glad it’s Friday and my session is half over for school. This class is an insane amount of work. So far, I’m pulling an A+, so maybe after doing all those drugs and having so many babies eat my brain I can still find enough brain cells to get this done. P was up coughing a lot last night, but the barking sound has stopped so I guess she’s on the mend. Hope you get to catch up on some sleep this weekend, wedding and joelies. |
