That’s a Nest poster? I’m pretty sure I referenced that post when I bought my first house.

I really like Benjamin Moore’s Gray Owl. I was just coming to recommend this.

It definitely looks grey. My pediatrician’s office used it and it looks great. ETA: it may be too light for what he wants.

He sent me this as an example of what he likes. So even though he says light gray, I’m not sure he means it. After seeing this I'll definitely take a picture of Timber Wolf in my kid's room when I go home for lunch.

I don’t think he cares too much about what’s in. He just spends a shit ton of time there and wants it to look nice.

Unless he has a lot of light/isn't north facing, you might consider going up one rung on those paint chips. Especially if he is thinking lighter gray. Paint chips are so deceptive. The worst. Those all read really blue to me. Edit: nm. re-read re: darkness

I have collingwood in my clinic. It definitely looks more grey than beige in there, but it’s a warm grey for sure. I’ve been happy with the colour. We have some areas with huge windows and lots of natural light, but also plenty of small windowless rooms and I like it everywhere.

Ill send you the floor plan. It’s literally two walls and the rest are windows so I feel like it’s not going to look as dark. Thoughts? I was pushing for navy walls.

This is Timber Wolf. Overhead light is not on, that's natural light from a south/southeast facing window.

Almost my entire house is Revere Pewter, and several of my friends have used the same color after seeing it in my house. It's my absolute favorite. We recently tried a different gray in a room, and I was immediately like, nope, this room needs to be RP too. I used this in my old house and it was more beige for me so I’m so wary of it but I know everyone loves it.

Also, I’ve used Coventry gray in our current house and our rental properties and I love it. My husband comments on it every time I use it.

Nymeria, you’ve just convinced me to use timber wolf when I repaint my walls. 👍 I happened to find it because I did a search just to see what colors of theirs had wolf in the name and it ended up being perfect.

I like the grey we have now but I have no clue what shade or even company it is and we’re hoping to be taking out a bathroom which means drywall work which means repainting the house.

I had this in my old kitchen and while I loved it, it was definitely more beige. Interesting — the only time RP looks beige in my house is at night in one room that doesn’t have a lot of light. We have a lot of windows; I wonder if that makes a difference. My house is also RP and doesn’t look beige at all. We have a ton of windows so agree that must be the reason.

I really like the stain of the floors. Is it wood or tile?

My friends have this color all over their house and it looks very tan to me. I don't love it

What did he end up choosing Cher? We went with the wood and carpet I showed you guys. We had a moment of panic and almost went with a navy printed carpet but, we’re doing glass walls to separate rooms and I feel like the black carpet and wood would go better with that kind of sleek feel. We also decided to do tray ceilings to really make it feel open. They actually told me if I don’t want to commit, I could just pick a palette. So I picked the palette with stonington gray, Coventry gray, revere pewter, wickham Gray, edgecomb gray. I feel like that has the most popular grays. The office is currently one construction zone. Once we actually have walls up, we will put up stonington and Coventry and see which one works the best in the space. Thanks for helping me. Don’t worry, there will be another thread in a month or two!

I really like the stain of the floors. Is it wood or tile? It’s wood. They gave them really cool wood selections, I was really impressed with how modern their choices were. They’re only doing it in the kitchen and the conference room though. We feel like it will be too loud in the bullpen.

It really is a gorgeous color. It’s what I want in my future house.

I’m late, but Silver Chain was the only one that looked truly gray in my kitchen. My living room is edgecomb gray and it’s very greige. Revere pewter was our pre-Reno kitchen color and it looked blue/ purple in certain lights.
