Sitting in the line at pick up. I thought for sure they’d go outside today, but I have a feeling everything is a little too muddy to play on.
I’m looking forward to tonight. I bought a new peel off mask and some under eye de-puffers, and I found a really good recipe for a hot toddy. I want to commit to this because i’ve fallen very much into the get right into bed and binge TV until nine.

Hello from the office!!

I got my desk moved by 9am, thanks to pretty much everyone who was physically in the office at the time. It was really sweet. But my desk feels all disjointed and it's going to take awhile to feel at home. Work is a disaster though. Not jewels level of disaster, but frustrating nonetheless.

DH and I had another counseling session last night and we talked mostly about things with my family (and also about how my current predicament will make us both appreciate each other more). It was a really good session even though it was more family-focused than really about DH and me. Things between us are feeling a bit easier/more natural, for lack of a better description. He's been awesome lately, which has been great.

joelies, I do feel that when I see some "real" problems out in the world (not to say your problems with your H aren't real), but I feel like it gives me perspective on my issues w/ MH. I'm sure that all the crap going in w/ your sister has done a bit of that for you. Esp since it seems he is being very supportive.

Well, if I knew all it would take to re-open the govt was to schedule an appointment for myself, I would have done it a long time ago. Looks like I get to go back to work for a few weeks, and even get some money (our missed paychecks!).

My coworker texted me and asked me to work for her tonight so it looks like I’m working from 9:30p-2a. Then I’m going to sleep in late tomorrow so I’m ready to go to friendsmas tomorrow night and stay up late. Monday morning is probably going to be rough. Although I don’t think I’m probably going to drink much tomorrow night. I’m in the 2ww and it’s a little early to test (I’ll still test in the morning) so I’m not going to get crazy. Plus I have to drive home.

Is anyone else following the little boy that is trapped in the well in Spain? They are so close to getting to him, they are unsure if it is a rescue or recovery operation.

Made it to the airport and through security 🙌. It was touch and go there for a bit if we could get everything done. We are 2.5 hours early so have time to grab dinner before our flight. I'm so relieved they came with a temporary fix, selfishly I was a bit worried about more airports shutting down. I'll be happy to have a longer commute again with everyone back at work.

Wow, I hadn't heard anything about the boy in the well.

In our area we've all been focused on the 3 y.o. in NC that wandered into the woods behind his grandmother's house. Truly a miracle, he was found alive and relatively well last night...he was out there for 3 days/2 nights in freezing temps and rain.

We have premade chicken tikka masala I was going to heat for dinner. I saw before heated that it expired 2/21. We can’t eat this, right?

I’m so annoyed because it wasn’t cheap and if I paid attention I would have frozen it or meal planned better.

I picked up pizza for dinner. Cleaning lady is coming tomorrow and I didn’t want to create more work for me tonight. I got the house picked up pretty good, so as long as my heathens don’t do damage, I should have minimal to straighten up tomorrow before she comes.

I was craving queso and fried ice cream so we went out for mexican. We went to the grocery after and I threw it all up in the parking lot. never thrown up ice cream before. DNW to repeat that....
