lfig your aunt and I almost duked it out to be on the HOA board last night when they were asking for volunteers but someone else stepped in before we volunteered. I hope S slept well last night and doesn't have seizures today. Can you do something like z-quil with her? I know you have tried melatonin Lol! No, we can’t do zquil. It’s main ingredient is diphenhydramine which lowers the seizure threshold. Going to sleep isn’t a problem and she sleeps through the night. It’s just not quality sleep because of the sleep apnea. So she has intermittent periods where she quits breathing and sleep is interrupted, although she doesn’t really wake up. They will probably want to do a CPAP . Which ought to be reeeaaal fun 😬. Maybe she will adjust as well to that as the braces |

Oh man lfig a CPAP does not sound fun. It's a shame the tonsil/adenoid-ectomy didn't do the trick. That was the main reason we went ahead with it for B, b/c of his sleep apnea. S is such a trooper. |

cagoldi how did P do at school yesterday? I hope it was better than Tuesday. Only one thirty minute nap all day, but she did much better with eating and each time she got way upset, they let X come snuggle her so yesterday was much better overall. Thanks for asking! |

I called the nurses line and they will call M2 in a prescription for his eyes. Glad I don’t have to take him in.

On the subject of flowers, DH has used a company called Bouqs twice in the last few months and I've been really impressed with their flowers. Just an FYI if you need to send flowers, and they usually have a promo code online.

I know, I was really hoping that would do the trick. But they warned me it might not work. Because she has low muscle tone, the throat relaxes too much when she sleeps. |

Morning! Last night the teen threw a fit because he is not getting his Playstation back yet. He stormed out into the snow with no coat or hat, but did not last long in the elements. My theory that teenagers and toddlers are in similar stages of development still stands. Then I found out his father turned his data on his phone back on for the second time without telling us. It makes things exponentially more difficult that he undermines us at every turn in an effort to win his son over. So guess who was at Target at 9 pm picking up a pre-paid talk and text only flip phone? Basically, I am teaching two toddler teenagers how to follow rules 🙄
H leaves today for the long weekend, so we are wrapping up the last odds and ends. My schedule does not slow down when he leaves, so I have my grandma coming to stay with nappers while I do school pick up and a friend coming tonight so the teen and I can take Ferris to obedience class. Will be cracking open a Malbec this evening.

So much productivity *not* happening here. I did order 2 raincoats for C to try, and got my nails done (#priorities) but that is literally all that I can lay claim to for today. This dreary weather just makes me want to vegetate. I am making chicken and dumplings tonight for dinner so that'll be an accomplishment I can add to my (short) list. dapostrophe Really frustrating that your ex is undermining you. flamingo LA! Have plans to hang with my cousins and their kids over the weekend, then DL for 3 days and then whatever for a few days. Unfortunately I didn't get my school work done ahead of time, but guess that will be done after bedtime in our hotel room. J has watched cars 3 about 15 times this month, so he's pumped. I think most of the week says high 60s and sunny, but warmer this weekend. I'll take it!

Hiiiii! I'm working from home and it's kind of dull. DH went out in the pouring rain to grab us lunch, which was nice. I wanted a mozzarella and pesto panini BUT I'm supposed to be eating lots of greens so I ate a giant but rather bland salad and some lentil soup. I need to do more research on any holistic ways to speed up recovery because this sucks. And yes, it's been less than 36 hours. Haha.
Colin is being pretty helpful but Chase is definitely thrown off by my crutches. He keeps asking why I only have 1 boot and not a matching pair, and basically runs from room to room and only relaxes once I sit on the floor or couch and put the crutches to the side. They've both been happy to give me extra snuggles though, so it's not all bad.
