Feeling like we need a new thread.
What's going on ladies?

Day 5 of this cold. Surely it will be over soon?
Made it in to work and have an email waiting from my boss from late Friday about a semi-annual documentation review. She wants to discuss something about my documentation today. I know it’s probably not a huge deal but still makes me nervous.

We are getting a nasty ice storm followed by a nasty blizzard. I dropped the kids off at daycare and then grabbed coffee and I was already sliding all over the road. I may go pick them up at lunchtime just so they are home safe with me.
Tomorrow is DD3's first birthday! I want to make her a cake but with this weather I am not sure I'll be able to make it to the store so I may have to get creative 🤔

Happy early birthday baby peaches! Stay safe in that ice. Driving in that is scary.

Happy early birthday little @peacheancream!
I'm eating a buffalo blue cheese salad right now. I took a bite and it had a giant chunk of blue cheese. It was awful. I like blue cheese, but not in that large of a bite. Gross. I'm still going to eat the salad, but it won't be enjoyed.
I was extremely nauseated last night and was feeling better this morning. Now I'm back to feeling gross. There is more diclectin in my near future.

Work was long today. I had no patience for anyone. I’m definitely blaming hormones. Also I’m tired of hiding this pg at work. I will be happy when I can share.

Happy to report that I survived the convo with my boss. I definitely make things a bigger deal in my head than they are in reality.

I ate two peanut butter cookies and I feel nauseous. Why?? I mean I know it's partly because I need more lunch but delicious cookies!! peachesncream: Shoveling used to be one of my preferred chores but I'm banished while pregnant because of low BP. It's AH-mazing for your arms. Think of the muscles that will come after the jello arms! XD

Nothing I want to eat is appealing when I get it, then I can't eat or feel nauseous... The only thing thats tasted good is pistachio ice cream of all things

I can't believe we don't have any twin pregnancies this BMB! Or is anyone still waiting on an ultrasound...? *insert popcorn eating GIF here*

I’ve asked them each time I’ve gotten an ultrasound. No twins here!

peachesncream I was secretly hoping for twins this time around...mostly because with my and SO's ages this will likely be our last pregnancy so I started thinking maybe 3 would be nice. And twins run on both sides of my family. But nope. And realistically I don't know who I would be kidding pretending I could handle twins and DD all by myself. But I'm still secretly envious of all twin pregnancies! Also your DD's birthday was my EDD with DD. She ended up coming at 40+2 so she turns 5 on Friday.

I was sort of hoping for twins. They only transferred one embryo, but two would have been nice. I know this is probably going to be their only child even though they wanted two, twins would have been perfect so they could feel truly done.
I sent my sneak peek test away last Friday. It still hasn't made it back to them. How does it take so long to ship?? It was in Chicago for 3 days before moving on. I fail to understand how it can take so long, I'm sure there are multiple mail flights from Chicago to California daily. This needs to hurry up and get there.

I was hoping for twins last pregnancy because I have always wanted 4 kids and to get it out of the way with one less pregnancy would have been nice. Had this 4th pregnancy been twins I would probably still be hyperventilating into a paper bag.

peachesncream: The chances were low but I my instinct said twins... it was wrong. So now I wonder about the sex of the baby. I was so certain that DD was a girl (team green throughout) last time and I was right! This time I was feeling girl again but after the u/s now I'm thinking boy??

I personally did not want twins. 1 newborn was hard enough for me last time. I cannot imagine having 2!

cookswithwine twins was my worst nightmare for myself! My cousin has twins and I'm exhausted just looking at them, I feel like the newborn phase would be easy compared to how wild the girls are as toddlers. No thanks!

My sneak peek sample has been 'in transit to next facility' for 48hrs now. I'm beginning to think someone is walking it from Chicago to California. I sent it out on Friday of last week. Walking is really the only explanation for why it's moving so slowly. 48hrs! At this rate it will be 2 weeks before it gets there and the sample won't be useable anymore. They said it can take up to 7 days, we are now over that. We all just want to know if this is a boy or girl!

peachesncream: I didn't want to like... But I mean I have a toddler and my sister has a NB so I talk about poop regularity daily.

Do any of you feel like your heart is pounding really hard? It’s not like it’s beating faster, but I can just feel it thumping in my chest, especially when I’m trying to sleep at night. It feels really strange, and I don’t really remember having this happen in other pregnancies.

robinanne I was feeling that some last week. I happened to check my blood pressure one evening, and it was pretty low. I hadn’t been drinking tons of water, especially at work, so I think my heart was just working harder to compensate for the dehydration. I’ve increased my water intake and it hasn’t been as bad since.

robinanne I had that in my third pregnancy, usually as I was trying to fall asleep. My doc said it was normal. Pregnancy is weird.

I fell asleep last night thinking about how I've basically had morning sickness for a year and a half of my life. And at the end of this I will have spent 3 years pregnant. Sooooooo ready to be dooooooone 😂 my OB said there is a 6 month waiting period to get DH in with a urologist so he is planning on calling in April already lol.
