Morning. All home here today..I have my first doctors appt at the same time as a sky zone bday party. So mh is taking both, which should suck since N can't jump. You'd think he was doing some huge parenting feat taking both though🙄. We watched the fyre fest documentary last night, that was like watching a train wreck in action, it was pretty interesting. Hope the appointment goes well! Why can't N jump? |

flamingo wineallthetime oh it specifically says no siblings for jumping with the party, but I think we can pay for her to jump. We've never been but mh is going prepared to jump with her if not a zoo. I am slightly terrified of someone breaking a bone there after seeing how horrible a spica cast is.

Sierra’s school is in session today using it as a make up snow day. But she’s sick and we are in AR for the weekend so we just decided to stay an extra day to visit. The weather was crappy this weekend so I didn’t feel like driving home in it anyway yesterday. But we will head home today.
My cleaning lady texted me to see if I wanted her to come this week. I had told her a few weeks ago we needed to hold off while we weren’t getting a paycheck to conserve our money. She wanted to check before she gave our spot away. I caved and told her to come. Our house desperately needs her right now!! So I figured we could spare the $30 for this very important thing 😉. Its been almost 3 sessions in a row we haven’t had her due to her having to cancel for an appointment, then Christmas, then I canceled because no paycheck. But I NEED her. So this week I’m putting her on the “necessities” list! Then I’ll skip the next round if we still aren’t back to work.

Hand is still swollen as can be and hard as a rock. Hes in a lot of pain and pissed its mot healing faster. Hes going to get a second opinion. His heart has been fine. He hasnt had his echo yet though. So we'll see once that's done. Poor thing. Can he put it in a bucket of ice water or does he have sutures or something in it? I know it’s not delightful but with all of my injuries, just icing them did nothing. It wasn’t until I did the bucket of ice water that the swelling decreased, which helps the pain tremendously. I've tried to tell him that. He wont. I'll push for it today. |

Eh, C broke her leg playing in her carpeted bedroom and we lived to tell the tale 😉 ETA: obviously that was not a break requiring a hip/leg cast |

Morning! I have the day off so I was planning to keep Colin home since we get charged by the hour during normal school hours. But it's so icy and cold that I decided to keep Chase home too. He's been super cuddly so I'm considering it the right move.
Chase really turned the corner with potty training. He's almost always dry over nap and he woke up this morning still dry!
Not sure if we're still on for skating. I want to bring Chase and let him skate for a bit but DH seems hesitant. We'll see.

Cadence's school is closed, so I took the day off. I'm taking her to the discount theater to see Smallfoot. They have new recliner seats, so I'm hoping she will stay in her own seat the whole time. Unfortunately, it isn't the Drafthouse, so she'll probably be pissed there are no milkshakes or fruit cups.

N’s school is closed today for report card preparation so it’s just me home with the boys all day. It’s freezing outside, feels like -33 so we’re stuck inside.
And I got to wake up and find that the cold water supply to our new master bathroom is frozen...

Morning btw 😉. The brakes on the big bike were frozen shut this morning, so that was fun. I did three loads of laundry, changed all of our sheets, got groceries for the next 4 days, had my aunt over for coffee, did the school run & cleared the kitchen. It’s four and I’m done for the day 😂😂😂.

Its 3 degrees with a real feel of -4. The boys want to go somewhere but I'm hoping we can just stay home! Soooooo cold!

And asked her to see if he needed a referral to see an orthopedist. Now if it was my mom, she'd been going through her phone to call every person shes ever met to describe how she almost died and the great pain shes experiencing. |

Showed Cadence some videos of girls getting their ears pierced, both at the mall and a tat shop. No one cried, they all did great and said it was nothing. Cadence has decided to wait until she's 7. 🤷

Happy MLK day Ladies! My 6 y/o is obsessed with Dr. King and thinks we should have gotten a cake with his face on it to commemorate the day.
Instead, we are hosting an ice skating party, and I've got guests arriving in about an hour. H left to drop the dog off at daycare and get a Walmart grocery pick up. I explicitly said not to stop anywhere else, but you know, he'll decide he needs to go the hardware store and fix something right as guests are arriving 😉

4° here. It says it feels like it’s -15. Kids are asking me to go sledding, but I feel it’s too cold, so instead they’re watching Daniel Tiger.
I’m trying my hand at baking some bread today, but I think I got my water temperature wrong so I don’t know if I’ll end up with a rise or not.
