Haha good I thought I had my days wrong.
I’m sitting here pumping while both boys are at daycare. I hate pumping. Hate it.

After weeks of sickness and teeth coming in, N finally slept through the night again last night. Woohoo! But then E woke up crying because she has pink eye and couldn't open her eyes. Womp.
But it seems like we've made it through pink eye without anyone else catching it which is nothing short of a miracle.

we got back from disney last night and it’s dd1’s 3rd birthday today. i feel bad but i sent her to school because i needed to get stuff done and she needed the routine. we’re having a party at my moms tonight and she is so excited. dd2 nursed last night and this morning just fine, but it now appears to striking. 😑 i just put away my pump for what i hoped to be the last time but apparently i’m not done.

polson Happy birthday to your DD. It is a great day for a birthday . Don't feel bad for sending her to DC. I'm at work for and I feel like would be much more fun.

I'm anxious for her to get into a better patter since I'll be working nights (8pm-8am) when I go back in March. I know I still have lots of time but, still.

I’ve been a know it all about sleep stuff so Im trying to be a better person. ( extra annoying is that I can recite the books by heart and try to follow all they suggest and my baby still wakes up 2x a night. At least.). My first kid was a total shit sleeper. We Ferbered him and I owe Ferber my life. Like for real. With B, I’ve followed precious little sleep like a cult follower and B is a much better sleeper all around. It’s been wonderful. (ETA: except for these two wake ups that he seems desperate to hang on to and I feel desperate to eliminate) All I can really say is pick something you can stick to and live with and then do it even when it’s hard and you will get your life and sanity back. It can be done ❤️

B has a bad cold and has had it for what feels like 7 years. He’s fussy and clingy and snotty and omg the whining. I keep thinking that maybe today will be the day it gets better and nope! Jokes on me.

Happy birthday stardust84 and polson to your DD!! I’m having an awful week. I have some personal stuff going on that I’m not really ready to put out into the world yet and it’s been a mindfuck and an anxiety filled week. And I won’t have clear answers for a bit so I’m just stuck being miserable. And of all weeks, work is slow so I have nothing to distract me. L has also been super crabby. He had a fever on Monday (like 104) but luckily meds worked and it broke after 24 hours, but he has still been screaming pretty much this entire week. I’m over it and ready for the weekend. Also after a week straight of finally getting to 5 am for our first wake up, he’s back to waking at 2 and 4 am.

The diarrhea has mostly cleared up, on the same day her first tooth appeared. Now she just has the worst diaper rash I’ve ever seen. Poor baby.

L's doctor thinks he may be self weaning. Getting liquids into him is still a struggle and we are adding it to cereals but that is making him constipated. The poor thing just can't get comfortable. His teeth have broken through so I just need him to nurse again.

It’s the freaking worst. Counting down the days until I can be done! 100% the worst part of my day. Only 2 months and 1 week until L's birthday but who's counting? The baby is on a serious nursing strike too and only feeds like 2-3 times in 24 hours. I’ve been so panicked about it and it’s impacting my supply too. The child health nurse I saw today was like meh he’s off the charts in weight and length he’s fine, and nearly one. So yeah fuck pumping. I am counting down.

His teeth have broken through so I just need him to nurse again. My kid prefers solids to breastmilk hardcore. He will nurse when really tired and MOTN and that’s it. I syringe feed him pumped milk in the afternoon now and mix some into his dinner. It is a giant pain in the arse. How is weight gain?

We are able to get some milk by cup/syringe and there are no weight gain issues. Hopefully his body will just adjust and he will be less constipated and figure out that he needs some liquids.

sunshinedaisies, thinking of you. I hope everything ends up being okay and that L starts to feel better. Happy belated birthday stardust84. Apparently L is sick again. DH called me because daycare called him and I guess L is throwing up. I know he had a bit of a cough. He threw up a couple times over the weekend too. This poor kid just can't catch a break. I think this is pay backs for my oldest son rarely getting sick. L's nose stopped running while he was on an antibiotic last week, but it is starting to run again, which means we will probably end up with another ear infection. I am hoping we can make it without a doctor's visit until our currently scheduled follow up appointment on February 5th, but it is not looking so promising. I had snow days the last two days. They are a blessing and curse. I enjoyed hanging out with my boys, but my paperwork doesn't get done during snow days, so now I am trying to tweak my schedule and catch up. Also, I may need to take tomorrow off now because of L throwing up.
