The furnace completely died about 1am...do not ask how my H knows the exact time.
So I'm mad and waiting on a phone call for how quickly we can get a new system installed.

Morning! I hope they can get the new furnace in quickly, mwhip! Not much on the agenda today. Both kids have school so I plan to catch up on housework and maybe do some more purging. Oh, and shower in peace. |

So E is getting her second flu shot today. She’s coughing and snotty but no fever. Will they still give it to her?

I'm at work. We have our "state of the office" meeting at 10. There has been a lot of shit going down the last couple of months and this meeting is going to be ridiculous. One of the talking points is about how much it costs to run the office and that we should consider parking in the office's parking lot as one of the many "benefits" to the job....I'm more than happy to work from home if you need a spot in the parking lot freed up. The head partner could always start charging his Bible group for parking each Thursday for their weekly meetings, you know, if they need that money so badly.
Oh and apparently people are moving offices around so Negative Nancy is moving into my space with me and the runners are going into the office manager's office so she can keep an eye on them. I'm not looking forward to this at all. Good thing I have earbuds.

And in other Texas news: A woman was banned from Walmart after driving an electric shopping cart around the parking lot for hours while drinking wine from a Pringles can.  |

My chiropractor cancelled my appointment this morning and my hips are absolutely killing me from sitting in the hospital all day friday.
I need to work on 4th quarter fuel taxes. But other than that I'm just trying to stay comfortable until Wednesday when I can get adjusted.

Morning! I am sitting outside Aldi eating a Starbucks breakfast sandwich while Bea naps. We kept busy this weekend out on the backyard ice rink and swimming at the gym. Everyone was exhausted by the end of each day...even poor Ferris was too pooped to play.
Just back to the grind today, but I am going to grab myself a chocolate croissant or something while I'm here.

His swelling is down considerably. I was getting concerned yesterday. It got so bad where the thumb meets the hand it split open and he has a 1in open wound. But it looks great today. And he went with my mom to her cardiologist appointment. Hopefully they squeeze him in. |
