We have to do 100 items in a ziplock bag and 100 things on a shirt. I think I'll do 100 rubber hair bands (for man buns). For the shirt I need something easy. I'm thinking something he can paint stamp on because I'm not good at writing and no cricket. Also I want him to do most of it not just me.

Our school doesn't do that.

That isn’t a thing here until kindergarten starts, but you could always have E stamp circles on the shirt and then you both could fill it in to make 100 happy faces or 100 balloons.

That's a good idea maybe I pick 10 pieces and he can stamp his shirt. I saw some shirts that had 100 legos attached to the shirt. Heck no to that effort.

We don't do this either, to my knowledge.
What about those little colored pom-poms glued on a shirt?

I have only seen this on Facebook from people out of state. Usually kids dressed up as 100 year old women/men? I never came across it growing up and hoping it's not a thing here.

Yep never did it but now there is internet and pinterest and I'm sure some school did it and then everyone had to. I know E doesn't even get it because he's in school way more than 100 days

A friend of mine is a K teacher in FL and she and the other teachers dress up as old ladies for the 100th day, which I thought was cute. I don't know if I've seen kids do it, though. I remember in 2nd grade we had to bring 100 of something, so my perfectionist mother and her equally perfectionist mother sewed 100 different buttons in 10 rows of 10 onto a piece of fabric for me to take. Sorry, B and C, that will *never* happen in our house

Here the K4s do this, so it’s us this year. They just sent an information sheet about it because it’s in two weeks. I think I have whatever I need to make him look like a grandpa. I just need to convince him to let me spray his hair gray. ETA: I never heard of what you have to do Sunny41. I came into this thread thinking it was about dressing the kids up as olds.

I don’t plan on doing this when it comes up. It’s dumb and no. We don’t have 100 of anything to just glue to anything. It’s a waste of time and resources that I refuse to participate in.
DD can wear the gray wig I already own and bring a picture of her 96 year old great grandpa who is still delivering meals on wheels.

When we did this for my son's kindergarten last year, he just had to bring 100 of something. I think he counted out 100 paperclips and brought them in a ziplock. No gluing or crafting.
