wedding I don't consider what you're wearing to be 'dress slacks' though. They look more casual to me in that photo. I'm wearing black jeans today with bare feet and flats...stockings would def look weird with that, lol. I don't own "slacks". I think I've only heard my gram use that term! These are more casual but this is my look with dress pants as well. Dress pants are slacks to me. I do call them dress pants though. |

I’m so glad my only wardrobe options are athleisure and glamazon slut. No need to throw office shit into the mix. I miss dressing up for work. I still don’t feel as pulled together as a sahm bc I spend at least half my daytime the floor. Having an excuse to buy dressy clothes is probably what I miss most about working 😂 Especially being in the design industry, I had to look the part. Recently I’ve had several moms at the kids’ school ask if I work because I am ‘dressed up’. I wear a lot of jeans this time of year but nice tops/sweaters, blazers, etc. Old habits die hard, I guess. |

I guess we need to find a country western bar for nam2013 to visit when she does her big east coast tour! Hahahaha I’d love that . I like country music, just not the Miranda Lambert stuff. I love singer songwriter/folk music and Dh sold me on the more more folk style country, like spirit family reunion, old crow medicine show, the lone bellow etc. |

Yesterday my nasal passages felt so dry and inflamed. I didn’t take my Claritin last night to see if that gave me some relief and it did. I’m still stuffy, but at least I feel better. I just took Sudafed instead and it’s much better. I switched from Claritin D to Sudafed and it's made a huge difference. I don't take it every day or anything, but I like it much better than Claritin D. |

I look forward to client visits and our annual conference because I wear jeans, flats and non-collared shirts on a daily basis. The only difference between the weekdays and weekends is whether my jeans may have ripped knees or if my shirt may have a hood attached. I enjoy opportunities to dress up!

Pretty much the same but I try to go with a sweater and dressier shoe if we’re leaving the house (a bootie or driving mocc). Leggings and a tunic neck when we’re home. |

Hi Ladies! I ran errands and got coffee with a friend this morning. We popped in World Market which is a place that brings me joy. I want to live in the bath section. Now 2 of my children + the dog are napping, while the other 3 are still in school, so I am soaking it in.
In other news, H and I resolved that we are going to be more intentional about screen time/SM time for the whole fam. Don't worry, I had already pared way down last year around this time and kept only the necessities (like N13). It only took a year, but he's ready to jump on board and I am thrilled about it. He even wants to do more time at the gym as a fam, which is another idea I suggested around the same time. Apparently, I need to plant all my ideas the year before I actually want them to happen. Better get started on my 40th birthday plans 😉

I am not a very patient person and I’m a planner. May feels so far away, yet I want to do all the things now and it’s really too early to do anything in regards to the move. I said I was just going to give it a rest until mid February, but I keep looking at houses, schools, etc. I feel like I should be doing SOMETHING. The uncertainty and unknown kills me. I need something to occupy my thoughts.

Heck, we won’t even start legit looking at houses til next winter and yet here I am, currently on Zillow and researching public schools to see who has a Spanish program for elementary grades. Do y’all have to find your own mover or does your H’s job coordinate that? |

I wear jeans daily, unless we have a customer or the board of directors visit. Only difference is on Fridays, I might wear a sweatshirt and tennis shoes, the rest of the week, I wear boots or nicer shoes. Having to dress up daily for work makes me cringe.

If anyone wants to start thinking ahead about this year's birthday party....Frozen 2 comes out in theaters the weekend of Nov. 23. The weekend before Thanksgiving. Cadence may be having a Frozen movie party.
