Oh man today was rough. DD has been in a terrible mood. She went down for her nap late, which means she slept late, which means bed time will probably be a continuation of this nightmare of a day.

chitownsully, you're right, they had a massive recall with flour last yr due to salmonella. Toasting flour does take the raw taste off so would likely taste better.

Thanks, now y'all are making me want pizza and coconut cake both of which I am not able to make now. Maybe pizza, I can throw it into the KA and let it knead for me and instruct my mom how to assemble. 🤔

DD was a pistol yesterday. At one point she was throwing a fit because I insisted she wear pants to the store. (She much preferred naked at the moment). She's been sooo much better today. Hopefully yours will be better tomorrow too!

I'm really struggling lately with food choices. I know it starts at the store, and that it's my own fault but I'm just struggling. I don't think I've gained too much, but my doc has never said anything so I don't know for sure.
Mentally, I just know that I'm eating like crap and I need to stop making excuses. Blah, sorry for the word vomit.

A group of us from work volunteered at our local food bank today. It was fun, but very hot in the warehouse! At one point my boss fussed at me to go sit down in the break room.
Went out to dinner and DS was mostly good, but still throwing his food more than we'd like.
Now we're just relaxing on the couch. DH is watching college baseball and I'm thinking about a bubble bath. Maybe I'll just read in bed, though, haha.

Blah, sorry for the word vomit. Yep. I could have written this word for word. At my appointment on Tuesday I have gained 22 pounds. Doctor said nothing but if I gain a pound (or more!) a week for the last 17 weeks (which I did with DD) I will be over the recommended healthy weight and it bothers me more than it should. Like I know what I need to eat and buy and whatnot but - ugh. I feel you and I'm right there with you....

chitownsully Thanks for the flour PSA! Since I'm pregnant, we put the flour in the oven at 350 to kill the microorganisms, but I probably should have mentioned that when I posted the recipe. I only do the flour oven thing while pregnant though...normally I just eat regular raw cookie dough (eggs and all) and have never had an issue. I'm such a rebel I guess...

Blah, sorry for the word vomit. IIRC, you have a small frame like myself, and I also mentally struggle with any weight gain. Sometimes I get in the same mindset when I've eaten crap food for days in a row. I've been known to google pregnancy weight gain charts just to make sure I'm within the "normal" range. I know they can be off and it varies by person but it's a way to keep myself in check in some way. Don't be hard in yourself - you're growing a human and keeping her healthy. Just make a note to ask your doc at the next appointment if it's still bothering you. (Hugs) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Also, hi guys. I'm still alive. We are enjoying the beach so much. DD is a wild animal running all over the place but she's having a blast. She's passed out and I have to go work on a test for school but I promise I'll catch up soon.
