iPhone really shit the bed with this ridiculous headphone port being the same as the charger. The struggle is real when your phone is dying and you can't listen to music anymore. They're trying to force you to invest in the bluetooth air pods. They are pretty nice, TBH. |

Yikes, imapenguin. Something I hope to never deal with as a parent or a teacher. I teach juniors. They talk about sex enough to make me want to bleach my brain. I poured all my booze out because I'm trying to lose weight. I lost some, but I'm having regrets. I could use a good buzz this evening. Sigh.. Poured. It. Out? Yes. I know. Awful. But I was trying to get rid of the temptation. I hadn't been losing weight even though I was doing everything right, minus having wine. Anyway, I'm regretting my decision. It was't a lot, incase that helps my story. |

One of our doctors keeps emailing me at my work gmail account, not my university account, and I check that gmail like... Once a week. I basically used it to apply for the job a year and a half ago and don't use it for anything else. She has my regular work email, grrrr.
She emailed me last Thursday and I didn't get it till this morning. Oh well. I told her to contact me at the other address going forward.

A fried bologna sandwich is fucking delicious, and was one of my favorite after school snacks. It's a thing here in the south, too. Here! Worked all day, picked up my friends 2 kids on the way home so that she could go to an appt, made dinner, extra kids picked up, back to work for a few hours & finally home now. So, ya know, just another day in the life over here lol DS graduates PreK tomorrow & I'm eating a Reeses egg at almost 1am because it's been that kind of week. |

Is Spam bologna? I haven't RTMFT. If so, I have an UO regarding spam. Hey hey, now! Spam is 78% salt/22% materials of unknown origin. Bologna is at least, like, 64% meat. Totally different. And fucking delicious. |

Y'all are missing out ETA: Fried is actually the only way I'll eat bologna Proper bologna sandwich: Heat skillet, add giant glob of butter (margarine for authenticity) Add bologna with red rind still attached(this is important) Fry until edges are a tad burnt. Remove from heat, remove rind. Run rind through teeth to scrape off crispy buttery/margariney baloney goodness. This is the equivalent of licking the mixing bowl. So good. Press bologna between two fresh slices of Sunbeam bread. Sometimes I add mayo, but if it's greasy enough, it soaks into the bread and that's a condiment in and of itself. I really like fried bologna sandwiches. Actually, I just love food. |

I also really need to not have my work email forwarded, because my coworker (quickly becoming co-irker) just sent me a version of my project that is super crappy and condescending and now I'm pissed off.
I'm only there 3 days a week and so don't want to miss anything from the boss as far as meetings ect, but if I had waited to see this email on Friday, I wouldn't be laying in bed pissed off.

For reference, I'm creating an information literacy curriculum for the accreditation team to have on file, and the official record needs to have all the points that support our learning objectives and professional standards, and hers is cutesy and outdated. Of course a classroom visit is going to be more dynamic, but the template/rubric needs to be standard. |

I would assume a professional document is better suited for the accreditation team anyways, right? Exactly. It's basically a "these are the things we NEED to teach" in order to be accredited, but each instructor can do it their own way in the classroom as long as they hit the key points. Go on with your cutesy-bad-self, as long as you hit the points you need to, I don't really care how you do it. |
