As far as completely pie-in-the-sky, no basis in reality, I've often thought an indoor dog park/kid activity center would make a killing here. We have so much rain and there are indoor places for kids to play but not dogs. I'd want half to be an indoor outdoor area with trees and plants but a glass roof (atrium). The kid side would basically be like an indoor park. We already have a bounce house and trampoline place.

I don’t want my own business either. Too much work. But if I won the lotto I would open up a cat rescue and hire a good manager to oversee and manage day to day operations.

Same as trtlcrzy. I'd never really want my own business. MH fantasizes about owning a diner often and I have to remind him he can't cook. LOL My dad always said me owning a restaurant was his retirement plan. I just never had any interest. |

Assuming we continue to be successful, my dads trucking company will be mine someday. I love the business and most of my guys. And I'm good at it so it works. Never thought I'd be in trucking 🤷♀️ but the business is a simple model that would be incredibly easy to liquidate if it ever failed.

Also team I don’t really have much interest unless someone else could run it for me, but I would love to open a vegan restaurant in my town. We have a great, popular downtown and lots of vegan restaurants in SoCal but they’re all a good thirty - ninety minute drive.

Either an animal sanctuary or some kind of humane society. H and I both agree, if we had land, we would adopt all the dogs so they had a loving home. I know there is no money in it. There is a big cat preserve not too far from us and it's my favorite place to go to. I feel bad that the animals have to be kept in these cages, but because someone, at some point in their lives, decided to try to domestic or use them for a circus act or similar, they would never survive in their natural habitat. |
