this is my niece who is right around E's age. Meanwhile my almost 10mo old is like, "wait, people crawl? And sit up on they're own? I'm good" lol. I wish E would slow down on milestones. I want to savor everything and she wants to zoom through all of them. I will say that to an extent I do love that A isn't in a hurry to progress quickly, it is a tad stressful just because he was born 9 weeks early so it does make me a tad anxious seeing how he will develop and knowing he's so far behind where my other 2 were. |

We are watching the Anna Kendrick/Blake Lively movie A Simple Favor. It is almost painful to watch in parts, Anna Kendrick's character is SO awkward.
eta: this movie is getting weirder and weirder.

Checking in! DH has been driving me nuts today, pretty much all day. He slept in and left me to get the boys up and out without a heads up, so I was half hour late to login to work. Then he kept asking for my help fixing the gate, but it was HOW he asked that annoyed me. He kept saying "come here", not asking if I was busy or whatever (I was home but working), which rubbed me the wrong way. Then he volunteered me to make dinner because he, once again, is too tired to function. I'd be more sympathetic if he ever volunteered to cover for me when I'm not feeling well. Then I was playing with Colin and trying to put this bey blade together and he literally tried to take it out of my hands. Back off! He really needs to get out of the house more.

Also we're all now home until the 2nd. I think the tree is going tomorrow because it's so droopy and we need the space with 3 extra kids (and 2 sets of parents) visiting on Sunday. I'll probably put everything else away on the 1st or next weekend.

Last week's srltomach bug has wreaked havoc on my body. I just feel so worn out all the time. Maybe I just need to get back in the swing of things. I go back to work on Monday, but the office will likely close early, then we have Tuesday off.
We go to my mom's tomorrow for Christmas with her and my brothers. Should be a good time.
No plans for NYE. Cadence and I usually celebrate early with sparkling grape juice, silly hats and noise makers. Mh makes a steak and lobster tail dinner and then he heads to his friend's house to party, while C and I sleep. Really hoping the peeps across the street party elsewhere this year.

Speaking of Christmas cards, I talked to my photographer last Saturday and she told me “I’ll get your pics to you tomorrow (Sunday) or Monday!” It is now Friday and I still don’t have them 😡 I did message her yesterday asking for an update and didn’t get a response.
