Christmas with family started last night
Went to dinner then every one came back to our house for beers and gifts. My dad always gives us cash, the best gift!
I need to make a list of what I need to make the cookies and sides for everything else we have going on, then hit thr grocery store, for hopefully, the last time, this weekend.

Morning! My groceries are being delivered on Monday, so I think I’m done. We just got Dh a shirt for the wedding. It’s going to be a black suit, with a midnight blue shirt, sort of like my dress. Kids will be navy and cream, with some pink for dd, I think we’ll look good as a family  . |

Morning! H was up at 5:15. We tried making him sleep with us but I don’t think he slept at all. It’s going to be a long day.
We’re celebrating Christmas with my family today. We’ll probably head there after lunch. I doubt h will nap. Pray for me.
I need to get up and hey moving. I need to make sugar cookies and get my veggie tray ready

Cadence is feeling fine, but we decided to skip gymnastics this morning. She and I are just lounging in bed for now.
She has swim later.
I need to look for stocking stuffers at some point for mh.

vino, did you tell me about honey on pizza? We tried it last night and loved it. In other coincidental news, a buzzfeed list just promoted Mikes Hot Honey — 40% off when you do subscribe and save. I picked it for MH’s stocking and I’m so excited to try it!

Morning! I’m at work. I need to run to the grocery store for something to bring on Christmas Eve, but haven’t decided what to bring yet. I’m thinking Oreo truffles, but I’ll check with MIL to see what she thinks. We are going to see Santa at some point today. I love all the Christmas cards! The exchange was so fun, I’m glad we did it. I should be getting my pics back like today so I’ll order my cards and send them out as New Years cards. I’m kind of annoyed that it has taken so long to get them back. dapostrophe I like your fancy addressing and the stamp you chose (I assume that’s what you used) looks great. I want to get on yummeecookee’s level with the embosser. That’s super fancy. |

Hi from I-95 in S.C. We left around 4 this morning and should get in shortly after 1. Traffic is already getting heavy so I’m glad we got an early start.

Morning! Currently sitting at Sonic waiting for a breakfast burrito. S and I are headed to take the last puppy to their new owners. It’s a 3 hour drive. It’s a Christmas surprise. The husband had called to get info about him. The wife told him no, they couldn’t afford it. Then the wife called and said they wanted it but as a surprise. Lol. This came at a good time considering my H and I will be without a paycheck for the foreseeable future thanks to the govt shutdown. So we will not be splurging on anything with this $$ from the puppy.  |

This Christmas is 💯x better than last year. Last year at this time, mh and I weren’t even speaking to each other (maybe some of you will remember that awful Xmas card my MIL sent out, where she pretended she was the mother of my kids).
This year, I am full of the spirit. My dad is coming over to bake cookies w us today. I am “working from home”/using PTO on Mon and Wed and just looking forward to being w the family!

I have one shopping trip left to make. Last night, I said I wanted to go right when they opened. MH has been farting around all morning in a mood. I’m not dressed or ready bc every time I try to get upstairs, some other “crisis” arises. Now I will have to battle extra traffic and people. So annoying.

There’s a company here located on a popular bar street and they offered it, and at 2am after a night of drinking, everyone tries everything and it became the talk of the town! Morning all!
MH had yesterday afternoon off, we separately finished Christmas shopping came home and did all the wrapping. So we’re all ready!
B woke up this morning and immediately changed the countdown to 3 days and turned on all the indoor lights, safe to say he’s excited 😉
We’re relaxing this morning and have our neighbours Christmas party this afternoon, it’s so nice that we can enjoy a couple drinks and not have to drive anywhere.

I’m getting really worked up. I’m so annoyed with my sister’s changing their plans last minute. I texted all of my sisters on 12/7 to see what their plans were for Christmas. The one that lives up in the cities said she wasn’t coming and the one that lives here (L) was down with whatever. My oldest sister (J) didn’t respond. So L and I planned to just do a casual get together at my house in the evening. Now today, 2 days before Christmas, J wants to get together at 1pm. I told them that was fine if they wanted to get together at my other sister’s house at that time and we will show up later.
