I had a baby today! Katherine Graham M. Is here! Pics below. Everyone kept assuring us a repeat csection was going to be so easy and everything would go smoothly. My body had the opposite plan. Ute wouldn’t contract again and my BP was dangerously low without a ton of intervention. It was awful and terrifying. Had to have another blood transfusion and was on my way to the ICU. While we were waiting for a room in ICU my BP stabilized without any meds so they let me stay on L&D instead. I didn’t get to hold or meet Kate for the first 4 hours and it was awful. BUT as of right now, we are both stable and doing well. I’m mentally and physically exhausted, but that’s to be expected. Now some pics for reading all of that 💕     |
