All the same today: preschool, post office, grocery store and Starbucks.
I want to get my cards out tomorrow morning, and wrap mh’s presents. I’m looking forward to that tonight.

Including today only 3 working days left. I have a meeting with my director. Old boss L wants to meet to discuss how my current job is going. Even though I think I’m not right for my current job I will not tell her that. Do not want her to think I’m coming back.

I need to return the first gifts I bought for B’s teachers (I found something last night that I liked better—and bonus, less $!) Just got to work after getting bloodwork done....and stopping at Starbucks because if I'm going to be late, I might as well stop there.
Mh has his office party tonight and Cadence has parent's night out, so I get the evening all to myself!

Morning. I was up late getting some work done bc I know I'll be useless today working with both at home. We are finishing up breakfast and trying to hold off turning on the TV for as long as possible.. I called yesterday and was able to get a chimney sweep out this afternoon! Hoping we get the all-clear to use it, granted we don't have a screen or tools. My cards should arrive today and need to run to the post office for stamps..I did postcards and am annoyed that there is only one option, and it's seashells 🙄

This week felt eternal. Tomorrow night we have our NIN concert. I get to go to Pasadena to check out my BFF’s new apartment, then he wants to grab an early dinner, and we’ll head to the show.
Can’t wait to do adult things!

Hi ladies. It took forever to finally be Friday. I plan to be an upstanding employee today and work on my Christmas cards. I've really been enjoying getting yours in the mail and seeing your beautiful families.
Cass and I had our belt tests last night and are both green belts now. I was excited. It's the intermediate level now.
The girls are obsessed with board games. They've been trying to do a new one each night. Last night was Dream Phone (I still have mine from the 90s). "He looks good in whatever he wears, *whispers* but he's not wearing blue jeans."

I’m off today. It was so nice not to rush getting the kids ready this morning. M’s Christmas program is at 11 and my in laws are taking the kids with them afterwards.
I will be wrapping the remaining gifts for the kids and maybe watching a movie. Not sure what we’ll do tonight. Maybe order pizza and binge the rest of Ozark.

tgrimes, I was pretty happy with this season of Ozark. Marty keeps managing to get himself into deeper shit. Unrelated, but I finally watched season 2 of 13 Reasons Why. It was terrible. I'll probably hate watch season 3 though--which I can't believe they're doing. I don't even like Clay anymore and find him to be kind of a possessive creep. I also finally caught up on American Horror Story. It would have been fine if it ended 5 minutes earlier. I'm really loving The Good Place but unfortunately didn't get caught up in enough time to watch all the current season on Hulu. It's one of my favorite shows.

Lordy. I just remembered my dream from last night. I had a toddler boy who was born about 3 years after Cass. There was quite the invention in the dream and even though I should probably run off and patent it, I'm going to give it up. I was super annoyed with my husband because he bought some weird ass car seat/cat litter combo contraption. I was trying to adjust the angle of it and cat litter spilled everywhere. So I spent my dream cleaning up cat litter. It's our garbage day and I needed to remember to throw out the cat litter garbage. Plus one of my exciting plans this weekend is to clean out the car seats. Exciting times.

Morning all.
Yesterday was nuts. Worked in the morning, had the Christmas pot luck lunch with he whole group in the afternoon and it was ok but a little exhausting, I peaced out about 2.25 hours into it. As I get older I'm realizing that I'm way more aware of where spend my time, and what exhausts me and what recharges me, and I'm very ok with leaving places when I'm just done.

Morning Ladies! Sitting outside Aldi about to run in and go get some ingredients for cookie fest this weekend. We are going into the the city tomorrow, and my sister is coming with her kids Sunday, so lots to do today.
I also have the goal of getting all my holiday cards in the mail by tonight, so I sat down and busted out at least 50 yesterday. I apologize in advance to anyone who's I made a mistake on, I have an exact number of envelopes, so I had to roll with it 😬
