We promised Charlie that he could start sleeping in a bed last night, and he did great! He still woke up at 610, but he slept through the night without calling for me, falling out of bed, or wandering his room!
MH is taking the kids shopping for gifts today. I might start to wrap.

Morning. Dd woke up around midnight thinking it was morning and spend the night in our bed. I was sort of cosy & sweet. We cleared all the Sinterklaas decorations and some random junk lying around and will probably head out to buy a Christmas tree this afternoon. Quiet night ahead of us, I bought lots of nice goodies and a bottle of wine, indoor date night!

C stayed up all night. At 5am I brought him to the couch to watch Little Baby Bum on Netflix (it’s a magical show that makes him stop screaming). 3 seconds later, DD started throwing up. At least, since she is a female, she made it to the toilet. She’s been since a million times since then. We were suppose to get our Christmas Tree today but I guess that won’t be happening.

Morning. We are up and I’m still sick and losing my voice. I’ve made the executive decision to start myself on the Z-pack. I had one in the house that i filled but never used. I really dont want to drag both kids to the walk in clinic today, so self medication it is.

We have breakfast with Santa at 10:30 then a holiday party for my boss and her old lady friends in the afternoon. They are supposed to have kids activities including a face painter. I really hope there is a face painter because O has been talking about it all week and he will absolutely have a public meltdown if there isn’t one.

We were supposed to have our big Christmas party today, but L puked again and has diarrhea so we cancelled. Actually it got moved to a friend's house so I think MH is going to go for a bit.

Not much on the actual agenda today, but it's our last completely "free" weekend till baby, so we are deep cleaning our bedroom and rearranging to fit the bassinet.

I have got to go to the grocery store at some point for some actual food in our house. It's gotten so bad even Layla is tired of frozen chicken nuggets 😲.

Morning Ladies! I still need to catch up on yesterday, but thank you for all the well wishes. Family court is the worst, so it was really helpful to have a life line to some support. You may be happy to hear that I stood my ground until the end in a situation where I had the high ground, even after multiple attempts to manipulate and intimidate me into negotiating away things that benefit me (Yes, it was court with XH for those who asked). I am old hat at this now, so I know the game, and I was like bring it...I'm not folding and I've got all day. I am proud of how far I've come in that regard.

Saw my mom before she leaves for Spain again yesterday afternoon and then went to a neighbor holiday PJ party last night. It was lots of fun, but I'm looking forward to a low key day today...whew!

Morning. We’re laying low this morning then. This afternoon we’ll go to a little Santa event in town. Then there is a winter parade that is like 4 blocks long and the kids age going to be in it and drive there little gator. Hopefully it’s not too cold.

Amex, if they don’t take it, I don’t buy it. My bill however is terrifying each month. I mostly only use cash if I’m going out with friends and we are splitting the bill but that happens less and less often (the me going out part).

wineallthetime sorry you have more puke too and you had to cancel your party. Of all weekends to be sick, this one wasn’t too bad for us. All we have are 2 hockey games. Last week we had a holiday party and C’s birthday party and next weekend we have a breakfast with Santa and DD has state sectionals for gymnastics so we need to be good for that. DH is now asleep so either he’s sick or he’s tired from the 100 times I got up with the baby. I think I’m going to add stuff to my Christmas list right about now.

I just put the kids into their Christmas outfits and got some decent pics for our holiday cards, so I can check that off my list. They were surprisingly cooperative...a Christmas miracle!

Today I’m meeting the other wardroom spouses for lunch and some treatments at a spa as a baby shower for a couple of ladies who are expecting

Morning all!
The Christmas concert was adorable and B sang so well! They did 2 songs then we stayed for most of the rest of the concert but he was yawning like crazy so we left about 8pm.

And I was laughing because I bought him a pair of jeans at the beginning of the school year, they were a little long. Well, put them on last night and they’re on the verge of looking like flood pants...unbelievable.
