Just bought our tickets to the 4 oclock on the 26th!!!! H is going to be on hitch, however my sadness for him is over ridden by the fact that I cannot risk spoilers because of some assholes on the internet, because you just know there are people chomping at the bit to spoil it. Happens every time. This is like MY fandom so he understands, but he is bummed lol. I promised not to spoil anything for him, give me strength.

Only one screening is sold out here. I don't think anyone here will be making money off this. And if you're stupid enough to spend $10k on tickets, have at it.

If Im dropping 10k Chris Evans better be sitting next to me whispering sweet nothings in my ear and Im shushing Tom Holland on the other side because he keeps wanting to drop spoilers.

So you think being doped up on pain meds will make the movie better or worse? Definitely better. And then when you're not doped up you can go see it again and it will be a whole new experience! So you win TWICE!!

DH just asked what we were doing on May 4th. He wants to game. Dude, no. I already have to wait an extra week and avoid spoilers like the plague. Don't do this to me.

Another newish clip, Carol says where she's been. I also read a blip that said she filmed Endgame scenes before her own movie, which may explain the difference in hair, make-up, etc. She is showing, IMO, that self-confidence she's known for in the comics in her plan, and I find it interesting that Captain America signs on right away. For Steve, is he showing that greatest tactical mind in his generation skill by agreeing to her plan, or is he also showing some of the despair/sense of loss we've also seen. Or both? www.yahoo.com/entertainment/avengers-endgame-clip-captain-marvel-captain-america-thor-thanos-165707487.html

This makes me laugh. Watching the previews had me wondering. Half the world disappears, including her closest friends/ colleagues, and Natasha still gets her hair done?

Well, it looks like Clint lost his barber somewhere along the line to me...and Steve took the time to change up his look. I kind of miss the beard.....

greykitty, I'm not hyper-analyzing it or anything. I just find it mildly funny. If I were to delve deeper though, easy enough for Steve to shave. And we don't know when Clint's hair got buzzed (could easily have been pre-snap). Going from Nat's deep auburn to platinum blond is no diy feat. But far be it of me to criticize a person's grief process.

So it may just be her natural red hair color growing out, hence the scenes where her hair is long, red at the roots and blonde towards the tips. Then it looks like she cuts it short, cutting off the old blonde hair.

But far be it of me to criticize a person's grief process. Oh, I agree - and it's been funny and interesting to see some of the flow charts trying to work out timing of events based on Nat's hair alone. For me, seeing Steve so clean-shaven and shorn was really kind of a shock for some reason, which was probably one of the effects they were going for. I still remember Duncan MacLeod cutting his hair in Highlander, and seeing that as a sign of grief. Carol's new do and lipstick somehow didn't bother me either way, although I guess a lot of fans are upset. I did find the Russo explanation for her look to make sense logistically in real life, and I'm sure it'll be explained into canon soon enough. But, yeah, I admit I did think about the extraordinarily minor detail of sitting at the salon half through a dye job, and your stylist turns into dust. I started wondering about all those moments immediately after the Snap, and then years later, as peoples (and all species) all over the galaxies struggled with the sudden change. Even if it was, gee, would I remember to rinse out the dye before going into hysterics?

She's also former military, which may be meaningful to him and imbue some kind of trust (although this is not the case for Rhodey as of yet). Not sure how far in this is, clearly she's had time to change out of her suit, but they have had a chance for some kind of conversation. It's also hard to deny how powerful she is.

And, isn't Rhodey always a little on the more conservative side - well, years of dealing with Tony Stark would have made my default position 'hold on a second'. I did get the impression that Carol and Steve seemed to accept each other pretty quickly - all based on what, 10 seconds of trailer that may not even be in the movie? LOL at myself! I'm still curious if Carol is aware of Captain America from her education on Earth - I don't think I'm really clear on if she regained all her 'human' memories, but I would think a military education even in the air force would touch on Cap - unless that's only fan fiction that posits that every human being in the world wrote term papers on Captain America and the Howling Commandos.

I would love for there to be a moment of "Wait, holy crap, you're THE Captain America? Didn't you die like 70 years ago?" It'll be a question of how much of her memory is still lost (although maybe the power dampener was keeping it locked away and now that it's gone...) but I can't see how a military pilot doesn't know about Cap.
