Well, E gave us a good run with 2 nights of good sleep. Last night he was back to his usual antics. N slept until 4:30 instead of the 3:30 he has done the last two days, so I guess that's good. Right?

Ugh sarahandben108 I hope you get some sleep soon! I'm annoyed with MH, he's dragged his feet so much with switching H over to milk that I think I need to buy more formula. He keeps saying he's only one, blah blah, but I don't want his hesitating to end up creating habits we can't break later. I also can't stand the fight at dinner lately, I think H ate a piece of waffle and a piece of pineapple last night. It's so hard not to give in but he slept fine so I guess it all evens out. Sorry to be a debbie downer today lol. Yay Wednesday!

N did OK Monday night but was up three times (including for over 40 minutes at 3am, up again at 445 to be fed) last night. Which is surprising considering he didn't nap yesterday. Then while H was getting him ready, he apparently tried to take a step towards him and face-planted. Poor guy. He's fine, but he's going to be walking so soon. I'm afraid it will happen at daycare and I'll miss it Day 2 of underwire and no pumping and so far, so good. I forgot how amazing it feels to take an underwire off at the end of the day lol In at work today, even though the government is closed for Bush's funeral. It's pretty quiet around here. My H actually went to the Capitol last night (he works right next to it) and it took him over 3 hours to get inside and pay his respects.

L has been stuffy in the mornings so he has been showering with me. He seems to enjoy it quite a bit and it makes getting ready a little easier since he wakes up so early and needs wrangled.
It is supposed to possible snow here on Fri and everyone is freaking out. I have grand designs of staying home all weekend and baking cookies, etc but I'm sure the kids will have other plans. I do need to get some eggs before everything is cleaned out lol.

cakewench I told daycare not to tell me if he walks there. I said I will let him know when he's walking. They said they never tell parents about milestones lol.

I went to bed at 745 last night. I was achy and had chills but no fever. Ds2 slept awful and I woke up with a raging headache. Hopefully some breakfast, caffeine and meds will kick it. I'm training someone at work today and I really don't want to... But today my work gives us a free holiday lunch and it's prime rib, potatoes, veggies and cheesecake so it'll be a good day!!

E sleeps like shit on the nights he has crappy naps. You'd think that they would be exhausted and asleep all night but nope.

Sorry about the crappy sleep sarahandben108. I hope tonight is better! Feel better soon jules1614. Your lunch sounds amazing! laurensc927 have you done any milk at all yet? We were able to transition C pretty quickly, so maybe you’ll just need a small can if anything.

Good morning! C slept through the night and I am shocked. He screamed for 2 hours yesterday from when he first burned his hands until he finally passed out after getting meds at the ER. I fully expected him to wake up in pain and some point in the middle of the night but nope! Babies really are so resilient and I’m so thankful that he’s acting like his normal stinker self.
We have his hand specialist appointment at 1:30 and other than that, I just plan on giving him lots of snuggles and double checking our house for any other possible hazards. He’s so much more exploratory than ds1 ever was so we need to be extra careful.

See what your pediatrician says about switching over to milk. Perhaps that will get your husband on board

The pediatrician was shocked at his 1 tlyr appt that he was getting 24oz of formula some days (and at the time he was eating well too). All weekend he makes it through with just a morning and night bottle with us. I've been transitioning his am/pm bottles to milk and sending milk for during the day. I'm going to try and eek out with what we have left. It sucks cause it feels like we aren't all on the same page and if I am saying he doesn't need the bottle mil and dcp should be obliging.

So because DS lives to keep me on my toes...he’s gone from refusing any cows milk...to only wanting cows milk. As in, doesn’t want solids and just fusses for a bottle at meal time. Oy. I’m going to have to reduce the oz. he has in each bottle at daycare.

Sending you hugs pootsen! Glad C got a good sleep last night. Toddlers are so unpredictable. DD went from barely eating anything to scarfing down her whole lunch at daycare. Who the hell knows! bazi, DD can kind of say milk now, so she asks for it a lot, but still wants to eat. She's been sick, so I've been allowing her a sippy with her breakfast even though she has just nursed and will eat 2 scrambled eggs with grated veggies. She just nurses in the morning and before bed and sometimes in the night. I think she's sort of done with it, but it does help her relax before bed! Then she gets milk in a sippy cup at daycare once or twice a day? I don't know, I just let them do whatever.

Happy Hump Day! Heading out to my work holiday party in a bit and then we get off of work early, woot woot! PMS sucks and I'm feeling really moody so I'm extra excited for a glass of wine with lunch I was supposed to go early to help set up but for some reason my coworkers left without me? I'm on the building event planning committee and we just had a meeting yesterday and talked about it so I'm confused. And also feel kinda like a loser trying to hang with the popular kids. Oh well. There's going to be raffles and some of the prizes are an instant pot, a ninja, a nespresso, a kindle fire, a chromebook, etc...fingers crossed that I win something! If you bring a toy to donate you get an extra raffle ticket, so I brought a toy that Gianna got as a gift last year and we never opened (she has a million dolls already so I told her we were going to donate it to a kid in need and just haven't done it yet).
