CharlieB &@amc sorry to hear about that! As for me, I had my regular appt yesterday and I now have an induction scheduled for 1/2, when I'll be 40w 3d. I have never been this pregnant before and I am soo uncomfortable. Come on baby! Mama wants a tax break

CharlieB I’m sorry you’re dealing with all of that right now. I’m sure it’s a lot to process but hopefully the extra monitoring will help calm your nerves a bit. FX baby can stay cooking until 38+ weeks. Big hugs lady. @amc I’m sorry you’ve been diagnosed with ICP yet again but glad you at least know now and can prepare accordingly. redhead610 That’s my birthday! I’m sure these next few days are gonna drag but yay for having an induction date scheduled!

You know you’re not feeling well when you’re contemplating canceling a pedi and dessert friend date 😏.

Finally got our deep freezer today! Now if only those meals would cook themselves, bc I do not have the energy.

strawberrykiki, No itchy boobs here, sorry. But I had them with DS2 and it was irritating! It's 1:15 and I'm wide awake. I hate insomnia. I need to not be pregnant. -.-

strawberrykiki my boobs have been getting itchy because I have to wear a bra 24/7 now and they never get time to breathe. I never wore bras at night before. (They're soft sleep bras but still.) Is that your issue maybe? I just whine about it but I'm afraid of sagging from the extra boob weight at the moment so just having to deal.... As far as soreness, they're much less sore since keeping them packed up all the time?

I was up all night worrying about fetal movements. I feel movements consistently but they just seem so light. MH tells me I freak out about this every pregnancy and is no help 🙄.

k sunshiney I’ve been using mass quantities of cocoa butter lotion all over them and my stomach. I thought I was doing pretty good because I don’t have any stretch marks. Until this weekend MH goes whoa what’s on your butt?? Yep. Stretch marks. Right on the cheeks. I didn’t think to put any lotion there lol

k I remind myself that as baby gets bigger, there's less space for them to move around and their movements are expected to get less strong!! strawberrykiki aww, and you were lucking out so well! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) I had new white stretch marks on my hips since about 5 weeks lol and just had to decide that white marks don't bother me... They're expanding on my hips thighs and butt but so far nothing dark or on my tummy. That said, in a freak out moment I read lots of forums about stretch marks and I guess it's super common for them to all come on at once in the last week or weeks... Hoping for the best. Are your boobs sensitive to cocoa butter?

UO: I have no fucks to give about stretch marks. None.
I lotioned every day and wasn’t getting any with DS and thought I was maybe in the clear but nope—they came outta nowhere around 34/35 weeks. They’re only on my belly and kind of a cool cyclone pattern. With each subsequent pregnancy I have added another outer ring. I’m like an amazing mama tree trunk.
The itching I could do without, however. It’s my third pregnancy but I just ordered my first stretch mark/scar cream because my doctor wants me to start using it on the surgical scar on my neck. I’m curious if it’ll do anything on the belly.

My blood pressure has been good and my OB said today that she doesn’t think there is any reason to induce unless something crazy happens with it.
My FIL is going to be so disappointed 😂

I was so dumb tonight. I was snuggling with the boys watching Indian in the Cupboard and crossed my legs. I briefly thought I should uncross them because it makes my SPD a lot worse but figured, meh, it wouldn't be terrible.
It's terrible. I'm hobbling around and have to physically stop and lift my leg to move it forward with less pain.
So so so dumb of me.

It's like a knife stabbing me in the pubic bone with every step. Heat packs and ice packs have kept it fairly numb though.

Happy New Year!
I feel like I've been sitting around for the last 2 weeks just playing the Jeopardy waiting music over and over in my head. With no school or activities we haven't had much going on. I've been keeping up on cleaning and laundry just so I don't have a mess to come home to, and dh has been working on little projects. We were hoping he would get a decent amount of time off from work if baby came last week, so he may take a couple vacation days so we can all adjust. Ds1 goes back to school tomorrow.
Apparently this kid just does not want to come out. Yesterday I had contractions every 10 minutes for an hour and then they just stopped, then had that happen again and just stop. I go in for my induction tomorrow morning.

Happy New Year ladies!! We’re having babies this year 😱 Eeeeeek!!!!! My weekend mission is to pack my hospital bag! I got my breast pump and it’s hanging out in the box. Do I need to sterilize it or do anything for it to be ready to use? Should I bring it to the hospital with me?

Do I need to sterilize it or do anything for it to be ready to use? Should I bring it to the hospital with me? Most mamas I know do sterilize the parts ahead of time. It’s definitely something that could wait til baby is here but also feels good just to check off the list. Personally I wouldn’t bring my pump to the hospital. Just one more thing to worry about/take up space. In the event you do need to pump at the hospital they should have ones that you can use (which are way stronger and more efficient than the personal use ones we get from insurance anyway).
