I randomly bought red and gold ribbon at Michael's forgetting what colors my angel and ornaments are. Thankfully they matched. And this is the first year I was able to get the angel on the tree thanks to some wire up her skirt.

Our tree is a hot mess because there was a mixup with the lights, so the top and bottom have noticeably different colored lights, but here's the rest!

trtlcrzy I love the amaryllis! I'm impressed--you seem to have a green thumb. I was thinking about getting some this year and forcing them open (I read all about how to do this in Southern Living, lol) but it never happened. Maybe next year!

They are so easy! I got one at Walmart for $5. Literally all you have to do is put it in the pot, in a sunny window, give it a little water and wait. Go pick one up!

I like our trees at night , but not as
much during the day. The tree in our living room needs a little more red and the kids’ trees needs a whole makeover for ornaments. I cannot was to hit up the after Christmas sales!

We have to have a skinny tree due to our living room layout. And H is obsessed with the Hallmark things, they're all over our living room. And H is also obsessed with decorating the exterior, he would fill the yard if I let him.

I feel like my tree is missing something as well. Maybe after Christmas I’ll look for some filler ornaments and picks.

We have a steep roof pitch and spend way more money than I care to think about to put the lights up. I always, and still do, enjoy driving around looking at peoples houses, so I like to think other people and kids do the same to us!

Our house is a ranch, so not as tall, but I still make him do it. It seems like a lot more people on our streets put up lights this year and it makes me so happy.
