I think I have an aversion already - peanuts. The smell of peanuts in my workplace is killing me. Insta-headache. GAAAAAAG. Mine is chicken. Well, that's the worst one anyways. So of course DD wanted chicken today so I just bought one and told her she had to serve herself because I couldn't even go near it:/

This week has been a whirlwind. I have been so busy at work and it is wearing me out! I had to force myself to take a partial day Wednesday because I felt so bad.
We have our annual Christmas party tomorrow and I am no where prepared for it. My house is a wreck. I haven't even planned the food I'm making yet. Hopefully I can keep my energy up enough to get everything done (typed as I yawn twice).
We plan on making the public announcement about the pregnancy tomorrow at the party. I'll be 10w on Monday. I think most of the people coming already know but some of them don't.

I am soo tired. The nausea has went away a bit. Which is nice but then I worry about it going away. It’s a vicious cycle.

Also I need some flowy shirts. Holy bloat! I've actually lost weight, but none of my clothes seem to fit me right now. Everything is tight around the middle and super uncomfortable. I would be fine if it was warm out and I could wear dresses, but having to wear pants or tights everyday has not been fun.

Also, we are going on vacation next month and I am probably going to go ahead and order some cheap maxi dresses from Amazon. I don't want to spend a ton because it's only for a week then back to winter in NY but I will need some things that fit.

I stupidly put on a pair of jeans this morning and they are not working for me today. I may or may not be sitting at my desk with them unbuttoned and unzipped.

HERE HERE HERE I just saw this, it looks more stylish than a hairtie. I haven't worn jeans since before my second was concieved, they sit right on my c section scar.

I've already dug out my be-bands (is that what they are called?) for some of my pants, and called up a girlfriend who borrowed lots of my maternity clothes to ask for them back. It's mostly leggings from here on out for winter, gotta be honest. That and chunky sweaters and hope I can hid this at work til I hit second tri. cookswithwine I'm really hoping to find a nice floor-length tulle maternity skirt.

+1 to leggings. I am already living in mat leggings, t-shirts and cardigans and here I will stay until delivery.

Does anyone else get pregnancy-induced rhinitis?? I did last pregnancy and it looks like it's happening again this time. It's like a bad case of allergies, except I live in the Midwest and it's winter so it is not allergies. Ugh so miserable.

I was able to get an appointment with my primary for tomorrow morning, but I'm not gonna get an ultrasound because they don't have the equipment there, but hopefully she can get OB to fit me in soon. I'm hoping I'll get some relief tomorrow but they usually don't feel comfortable prescribing to pregnant patients.

I was actually supposed to have sinus surgery last month, but my ENT cancelled when I told them I was pregnant. My OB was okay with me having the surgery, but the ENT wasn't comfortable doing it.

Boo this. I just have a cold I caught from people in my house but I feel you. Stuffy noses are so lame.

I'm hoping I can breathe again some day. I've been like this since about April and have gone through several round of antibiotics and steroids. My insurance is changing next year so I hope I won't have to go through the approvals for the surgery again and can just get it done while I'm on maternity leave. Fingers crossed.
