So a lot of my anxiety falls around cooking for my family. Well a couple weeks ago DH bought a Traeger grill/smoker and that thing has changed my life. I love it and look forward to using it. It's basically a set it and forget it system. I'm smoking a pork roast today.

I haven’t learned how to use it yet but he loves cooking meat so I have basically only had to cook sides for the last two months lol.

I love that I can use it in the winter. We bought the insulated blanket thing and I'm using it in 20 degree weather today.

Little man just started pulling up to stand on stuff more consistently. Well the same day he started doing that he also started cruising a bit.

Has anyone’s LO dropped their morning nap yet? I think mine is approaching that time. Dd1 dropped it around 11 months and we’re almost there.

We don’t always get a morning nap in especially if he sleeps in on the weekends. Like yesterday he ate at 5 went back down until 8 played until 1ish then took like a 3 hour nap.

Hiiii y'all! I feel so bad but it's been more than a hot minute since I posted here. Long story short my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and it's been a crazy few months. I miss y'all though and really want to be active here again. I can't wait to catch up and see how you all are doing and how the babies are!!!!

DS1 dropped to one nap right at 12 months, but I think this baby will go much longer with 2 naps. He seems to love sleep way more than DS1 ever did lol. We are still going strong with 2 naps and a 11-12 hour stretch at night.

I thought I was approaching that because his morning nap was getting shorter and shorter but today he slept for more than an hour so I guess it’s sticking around for a bit longer.

Congratulations sunfrogger!! Doing anything to celebrate? Thanks everyone for the congrats!!! You all have been here with me through it!! I had just finished the first class when I found out we were expecting Liv. 🙈 I went to bed early tonight! 😂 does that count??? My bday present was also partly a grad present (my watch). I'm getting a fancy diploma frame for Christmas too. We might go out to dinner to celebrate one night but that depends on the girls!

If baby sleeps until 8 or so then we probably could get away with just one nap, but for the most part I still force her into one. With kids activities we can rarely get her to bed before 7:45 or 8, so if she naps 1-3 or so evenings are rough.
I’m currently battling a stomach virus. Naturally my parents are out of town so DH is having to close his clinic. I feel guilty but also it’s hard enough to nurse while trying not to vomit. Parenting four kids is kind of out of the question. Hoping it goes away soon.

DS is on the younger side of our group (9.5 months) but is definitely still needing 2 naps. He takes a 1 or 1.5 hour nap in the morning and a 2 hour nap in the afternoon so he is loving his sleep lol.

We definitely are still needing 2 naps here. Even if one of them is very short. My first dropped here shortly after 17 months and I’m hoping to push for 16 months this time. Just in time for summer activities.

Thanks for the nap feedback everyone! I’m thinking it might be her teeth. Her bottom molars poked through a few days ago (which makes for a total of 12 teeth 😳!!!!) and I think they are really bothering her. So I think that was preventing her from being able to nap. She’s sound asleep for her morning nap now haha. I’m dying for her to drop her first nap. It’s such a PIA planning my day around her 2 naps and DD1’s 1 nap. I’m so sick of revolving my life around naps!!! I suppose I should gtf over it tho because when we have #3 down the road we will be back to sq1 with naps haha ugh.

DH and I both woke up Sunday a week ago with the stomach virus BAD and had to call his parents to come take care of the boys. Feel better soon!!!
