Seriously though, E had one of his best nights in the last month. A wake up at 11:00 and 3:00. This has been a big change from the 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 11, 3, wake up schedule he was doing for a while. I have been giving him Tylenol and gas drops before bed. His top teeth are so close to coming through and gas is always a problem with him. He woke up in such a good mood. All he wants to do now is stand at everything. He keeps forgetting he can't stand on his own though and lets go.
We are supposed to be getting 10+ inches of snow tonight and tomorrow. I'm looking at snow day #3. And it's not even December yet.

How is it Monday already? I stayed up late doing laundry and deep cleaning before DS2's party this weekend. I am tired! But I have Friday off so it's another short week for me! We didn't get much snow at all but the temps have seriously dropped. This is my last week pumping at work! I'm only a little excited about it 😁 sarahandben108 that's crazy to have 3 snow days already!

Sorry about the snow sarahandben108, but yay that today will be a good day for you after a good night's sleep! Congrats about the end of pumping jules1614! I'm still nursing, but DD went to bed fine the other night for my mom without boob, so that's good. Not that I really nurse her to sleep any more, but it's part of the bed time process.

H is working overnight the next few days, so that is neat. He said they went on break at 11:45 with still 700 orders to pull from that day and 15 min later, it was nearly 1500 orders and significantly more pieces (aka larger orders). People checking out when the clock struck midnight. So needless to say, he is tired.
A is still coughing and phlegmy, but now is adding a runny nose. Love this season. 😷
Luckily we didn't get slammed by this storm and ended up with a dusting and super winds. I want to bake all the things, and am bringing on the British baking show instead.

Hi. I was supposed to have a solo day off and instead am home with the kids because DCP called out sick. DD2 is napping right now, DD1 is at school, and I’m finishing a workout. I was hoping that would make me less grumpy but it didn’t. I need to get out of this funk. I really wanted a solo day off.

According to my Fitbit, my period is in a week, so maybe I am just PMsing. I don’t know my cycles yet though so who knows.

Impossible to shop for Ds2, 3 & 4. So ds2 is destined for socks and clothes every Christmas? Ha ha. Basically. This is why they get a movie, toothbrushes, and M&Ms in their stockings. Then we do a puzzle or book, and maybe an outfit. Then they get 1 big gift from us and a small toy from Santa.

Today was a clusterfuck. The girls were supposed to have well check ups today but that was cancelled because the nurse was sick ::annoyed:: Both girls pooped multiple times so naps were off kilter. The attitude off the 2 yo is something else. Don’t even get me started on my MIL today.
And now I’ve picked up a night shift so Im headed there now.
Happy Monday

Made Rice Krispie treats with 1/2 regular and 1/2 cocoa with the boys. They turned out yummy. DS3 wants to eat his with a spoon, it is adorable and he is getting 1 tiny little piece at a time.

I said I'd completely wean at a year and here we are past that point and I just can't cut that last cord.

We are weaning now, and this weekend I’m going out of town and permanently closing the boob restaurant. He’s starting to bite more, and I know this sounds a little selfish but I want my body back. I want to buy real bras, I want to make some diet changes without worrying about supply, I want to use retinol products. I think I’m going to be a little sad on Thursday when we nurse for the last time. But I’m ready.
Now if I could only get him to drink cows milk so we can ditch formula...

I’m so excited to buy some good bras!! Luckily DH gave DS some straight cows milk at dinner this weekend, so I’m guessing the switch won’t be too bad. Next week I’ll probably just supplement with cows milk bottles on top of my pumped milk instead of frozen milk.

I guess I just need to keep trying with the milk. DD Loved cows milk from go so this is new to me. Anyone else have a baby who hates milk?

I'm still nursing morning, night, and overnight but giving Almond-Cashew milk at dinner. He loves it but because it is so thick he spits a ton of it back out. Have you tried cutting the milk with water? I know whole milk is a lot thicker than breast milk. It might be a texture thing. You could cut it and then slowly add back in. I have also heard of adding a drop or two of vanilla extract. Apparently breast milk is much sweeter than WCM so they aren't used to the lack of sweetness.

Thanks, I haven’t tried cutting it maybe that will work. He’s been taking formula bottles during the day for almost two months now so I figured cows milk would be easier. I wonder if formula is sweeter too. The smell of it makes me gag so I can’t imagine liking that more than whole milk!!

I've only tried a couple times with WCM but I think it's too cold for ds2. He's still nursing 5-7 times a day so we haven't needed to switch over. I am going to start offering it more though.
