I bought a Happy Planner during one of the sales a while back. I don't love it. It's juvenile but I don't love the dividers. I got it anyway cause I am like "you will decorate and make it your own." I guess I will see how it goes.

My sister got me the mom themed Happy Planner for Christmas. I really like the layout inside. It's sort of half bullet journal and half traditional Planner. I will probably cover up some of the basic Becky mom phrases in it with stickers, but I like the overall color scheme and themeing. Can you post pics of the layout... I’m intrigued!

I’m sticking with my bullet journal. I guess I just don’t like to be constrained. Different weeks have different needs. I’m still half way through this particular book, and have the back half designated for a specific project management timeline. [\spoiler]

Cheshie6 I don't know why it's upside down, but you get the idea.

I got a smaller plum paper for Home use (I got the 7x9 instead of 8x11 this year). I still need to figure out my work planner and our budget planner. I love bullet journaling but I constantly feel like I don’t have time to devote to it. Iḿ going back to my bujo this year. I love it and it does help me. I had the same problem though re:not making time to devote to it. I have decided to intentionally set aside time every Friday at 7:00 to do a brain dump/meal plan and then sunday at 7:00 to plan my week. I need to make time for myself. I want to go into the week less stressed and I think that I have finally gotten it through my head that I need to make my positive habits a priority or they just won´t happen. I will also be enjoying a dirty vodka martini during those times. This is a great idea.

I used to go to to Starbucks on Saturday mornings alone to work in my home keeping binder. I need to resurrect that procedure.

I’m going to try going back to a diary/appointment book this year. I’ve got a page-a-day A5, which I’ve always loved, and I’ll try to make it work for what I need. The day pages will be appointments and notes from the day. Month at a glance will be exercise. The address book pages at the end will be a list of books I’ve read.
I use a weekly desk calendar for appointments and doodling.

oliversbear The pencils sound like something I would like. Where did he get them We got them (and refill leads) at our local office supply store, but Amazon has the import version. They're Pilot Eno pencils.

Im going to get back into my bullet journal. I miss it and think about restarting often so I figure this is the perfect time. My sister bought me a new journal a few months ago thats similar to my old Bujo. I'll probably use the pages left in the old one to add a few more collections and brain dump what I want to put in the new one.

I decided to go with the Inkwell Press disc bound. It’s just sooo pretty. I got the goal setting, meal planning, and weekly inserts. The only thing I’m worried about is the weekly layout. I got vertical, which is my preference, but there are no boxes or anything. But I think with stickers or washi or even just pen/highlighter, I can make it work. Also, I saw on YouTube that it can fit the happy planner stuff if I end up hating the weeklies.

I am using a happy planner again for the third year. This time I got the budget themed one. I had been doing my budget in a separate notebook but these pages are just customizable enough that I liked it. I started out the year using stickers but stopped. My goal this year is to keep that up since it kept me more engaged with planning. I’m also wanting to join more groups to share spreads and get inspiration.

I franken plan so I have like 3 months of the regular planner, 2 months of budget insert, some other sections added as needed, and room for my fitness inserts when I am ready.

My planner got set on a table when I lost my job and couldn’t get myself to open it back up- so I bought a new HP- I went with the Super Mom setup from MAMBI. I don’t love that the stickers don’t really work with it BUT it is a very efficient set up!

Does anyone bullet journal with a book that they can add pages to? You can purchase grid paper for the happy planner and purchase some rings to make your own.

I found two new planners this week. I have a normal weekly planner that I use for keeping track of school homework and meal planning. I found one called the thoughtful journal that is pretty great for brain dumping. It is weekly and goes day by day and helps you visualize each week you write down expectations and then you record your highs and lows etc and then the beginning of the next month reflect on your previous and then write down plans for the current month. I like the format and it keeps all my ideas and thoughts in one place that are more personal. The other one I found is basically a notepad in a fancy cover with a pen holder that is like 8x5 size perfect for grocery shopping. It holds only list items not the actual meal plans so it’s really just a fancy portable notepad. Also I found a dot grid bujo because I wanted to give a shot at it and see if it is my preference.
