Are there any babies that aren’t crawling yet?
J loves to sit/rolling around but isn’t crawling (or even close to it). He is 9.5 months old.

I’m taking the day off and the baby is at daycare. I just need a day, it’s going to be great!
My cousin’s son didn’t start crawling until about 11 months. He was then walking not long after that.

yellow711 Mine just started crawling literally yesterday! She turns 10 months tomorrow. She had been moving by rolling, army crawling, and grabbing the rug and pulling herself forward on her belly. Yesterday was the first time she moved forward on her knees.

I should add that his pediatrician wants J to be seen by a specialist since he is on the very low side of any gross motor skills. He will get a full assessment from a PT and we will go from there. My DD Didn’t start crawling until almost 1 years old and didn’t start walking until 16 months. We had to do PT with her and I understand each kid does everything at their own pace.... and sometimes need a little help.

yellow711 Absolutely nothing! Maybe watch tv, read, make a nice dinner. There’s a small chance I might clean a bit but I might do some baking instead.

cake that sounds delightful! yellow711 all kids go at their own pace, but I am so familiar with the feeling of checking on others similar in age. Early intervention can work wonders as you already know. I’m working WFH and H is brining baby T to her 9 month appointment today. I’m really hoping they give the green light to start transitioning to whole milk. T barely cares about her bottles and eats all the things.

Olivia discovered stairs this weekend and can navigate them really well... Up, anyway. She's super curious and has hit the "I need to explore everything" stage. Unlike her sister she likes to crawl under things so she's been giving me heart attacks when I can't find her and she's under a table 😂🤦🏼♀️

I didn't think you could transition until 11/12 months.

sunfrogger yeah we were told closer to 10.5-11 months to switch. Which is fine but figured I’d check. I’m glad we got it confirmed vs being told at the 1 year appointment to switch. We have trouble getting her to take more than about 16-20 ounces in the day now 🤷🏻♀️ but she does take some in the night. My first didn’t sleep through the night until we cut formula and bottles completely. So I’m anxious and hoping the same happens.

I love DD so much but after 10 straight days of being primary caregiver 24/7, I was more than ready to drop her off with the nanny this morning. Didn't want to come back to work, but she exhausted me.
Vacation was great. DD was a champ and she loved meeting the characters. My sister was a HUGE help with DD and H is paying the appropriate reparations via a terrible cold after the choices he made on the cruise.

Hi! I went to work for a few hours today. MH stayed home with the kiddos. He is a veteran so his job gives him today as a paid day off.
Ian crawls like crazy and has pulled to stand up a few times but not much. This is so different from G who was walking at 10mo. It’s crazy how different kids can be. I worry about his development all the time when I see younger babies doing more advanced stuff. I need to remind myself that babies do things when they are ready.
He currently takes 3 bottles a day of formula for a total of 17ish ounces. The pedi said that was fine. At around 11m 1 week I am going to try and reduce his midday bottle then the weeks leading up to his birthday I am going to try and transition to milk and sippy cups. I am hoping that when 12/27 comes I will be formula and bottle free!!!!

The baby caught a cold from DS1 so he’s miserable. But I can’t complain that we got to 9 months before he got a cold.
And he’s ready to climb steps which means I need to get baby gates out to block off the stairwell.

I am so sleepy. I haven’t had a night that I didn’t wake up in the middle of the night for some reason or another in like 2 weeks. I am so over it. It’s not even the baby’s fault.

I wfh today and it was everything my soul needed.
I actually ate breakfast. I sat on my couch in my tidied living room in a big soft blanket. The best.
I need to get a side hustle going though to pay for my retail therapy habit. Oops. Once my MBA is done I'll look for something to do. I was thinking about opening up a bow shop. There are so many, but. Maybe. We'll see.

H is gone this week so I'm re sleep training DD. I think I'm losing my mind because I legitimately can't remember if she woke up at 10 pm last night like she has the past several nights, and I woke up at 2 am to what I think were phantom cries because I saw no indication of them on the monitor. I fed her once all night at 4:15 am and then she went back to sleep until it was time to leave. I'm hesitant to do any happy dancing, but I almost feel human this morning.

It was Gs from her first Christmas so it’s 3 years old. I am looking on amazon and I don’t see it. It’s the Bright Starts Window. That’s not the exact name but I don’t remember it. Sorry I am not helpful with this.

So I think we almost have a tooth! I can't tell if it's through yet because baby won't let me get a good look or put my finger in there.
