Hi! I’m off today and the kids are at daycare. Had Ns fall conference this morning, wandered target for a bit and now I’m home working on the basement. We stuffed the kids’ closets full of totes and I’ve been bringing them back down where they belong.

I swear I’ve been to target 6 or more times in the last couple weeks and I missed some things today and need to go back. Bye monies

Phew, I finally booked a party at bounce u...and they had a last minute discount, so we got $100 off! My procrastination has paid off! Granted hopefully kids can come since it's t-2 weeks now. I am not sure how to handle the sibling issue since some siblings I'm purposefully inviting, but cannot do open to siblings since that's like doubling the guest list.

I handed out invitations to the class, just addressed to the kids in the class.  I then mentioned to the handful of families that I know that have siblings B's age that I wanted to include that they should bring the sibling.  So we have like 4 siblings coming, but not the rest of the siblings I don't know.

I just signed C up for a trial Karate class the Monday after thanksgiving. I’m mixed on if I want him to like it or not. It’s two times a week and I’d have to leave work at 4 those two days. But I like the teachings. We will see. They offer two private one hour sessions to learn the program prior to sign up.

Okay that's what I'll do(but online version). I may address the family ones to both kids (one is older and was his friend last year, so not too odd). I'm just a bit worried about side eye when a few younger kids are there. Im not doing no gifts this year...we have only been to park parties and have brought a gift to them, and winter parties are a lot more pricey. They can buy him a gift. I'm apparently in a mood..

We literally did nothing today, but it felt really cozy. Josie got a play doh ice cream maker, and I set it up at 8 this morning and the kids played with it all day on and off. I kept Christmas movies on in the background, drank way too much coffee, and am still in my bathrobe. I think there’s a spiked hot chocolate in my future

In case you guys were wondering, I just spent the last 3 hours decorating (well mostly watching my mom) a felt crown for ds. Each kid in the class will receive one for Sinterklaas.

That sounds lovely.

C got a new play doh set for her birthday and both the kids love it. She is really 'into' that sort of thing, and I think as a result, B has gotten more into crafts/art/etc. Nice to have an activity they can do together that keeps them busy!

somewhat related, I really want to decorate for Christmas. I am normally anti-CHristmas creep, but I think the chilly weather has gotten me in the mood. Sitting on my hands here...!

flamingo that is the plus side of having Sinterklaas over here, Christmas decorations will have to wait until at least December 8th or something like that.

Just caught up from the last few days.

All the kids are home and I’m working.

I’m having a flare with one of my chronic issues and will need surgery pretty soon (very minor). I’ll head to the surgeon after work to see how quickly he thinks we need to do this. Recovery is kind of shitty (I had the same surgery once before) and I won’t be able to work out for a bit and it’s already making me feel antsy.

Back from flu shots. Colin cried for a good 10 minutes and Chase just looked annoyed. At least that's over with! Now DH just has to get his and we can hopefully avoid last year's debacle.

DH and I picked a therapist for a consultation so we just have to get our first appointment scheduled. I am going to let him figure out the timing since he's pretty rigid about his schedule unless it's on his terms.

It's MH and my 7th anniversary. We had plans this past weekend to have a day/night out and it fell through. He surprised me today with dinner and drinks out, which I wasn't expecting. We are having wine and watching our wedding video now. I know I've mentioned it before, but MH loooooves watching our wedding video. I love that he's so sappy and loving, but I'd prefer to be watching something else. I was there, I remember it.

The pooper said she didn't poop at all at school. Once she got home she went like 4 or 5 times. Idk, she's acting fine, so I'll just keep giving her her gummy probiotics and let it work itself out.
I told her she needs.to start washing her hands more, especially while at school. She constantly has her hands in her mouth right now wiggling her loose tooth....yes, she just lost one, but the one next to it is loose too. Mh shouldn't have set the price point for them at $10.
