Morning all.

We’re all off as a day in lieu Remembrance Day and it’s my SIL’s last day here so we’re all just hanging out. MH, SIL and B are going to an indoor amusement park right after lunch on J’s nap so that’ll be fun for them.

My house is a mess and I’m trying to not clean all the things....

I can’t get off the Balsam Hill site. I am trying to order another tree tree, and want everything they have!

I'm here. I went to bed early last night and am still exhausted.

Poor J wants to go to school so badly. He keeps telling me it's taking to long for him to get big enough to go. He gets upset every time we have to drop off M.

I’m being lazy today. I have a Target trip and lunch with my mom. Then I’m on C watch while Dh does some job searching. I want to start holiday decorating but that’s more energy than I have. I may take a day off to do it Thanksgiving week.

Yes, only going out to see grandparents this afternoon. But I’m wondering about traffic tomorrow morning with this little freeze up. Have to be at the hospital by 8:45. How’s the PSB been?

You can text me in the am. I have to be there at 7. But I think it should be fine by then. It's a matter of getting the trucks to salt the ice and after all the accidents Friday night they will be on it this time.

Thanks for the well wishes, they did great! No tears for L and minimal for the boys. C kinda freaked out right before, but then laughed after because he said it wasn't bad. C's 5 year check up was uneventful

Dd walks around saying ‘dd four, dd go to school’... she’s sees school everyday for drop-off / pick up and she just loves it, but hey kids slow down!!!

ETA she’ll start preschool at the same location as ds’ school in January, hold me please.

mamabear ugh I’m sorry, hope you’ll get a rain check soon! Is it an option to order lunch and hang on the couch today just the two of you, not the same, but might still be nice.

J won't start until next September. Which emotionally, I think is best. He still has a lot of maturity to gain before I think he's ready for school. My nephew is the youngest in his class and only 3.5 and struggles a lot. J will be 4 when he starts and I think that's better for the program they're in.

peachsmama since school starts at age 4 here, the preschool dd will go to is for kids 2.5-4. They go 2-3 mornings each week, it’s all play based.

This is too. But the routine and transitions and being with so many other children, that's where my nephew struggles and I would guess J would be the same.

Omg yes! I love stalking their site. Let us know what you get. We’ve talked about getting one of their trees in our next house since we won’t have to worry about ceiling height/room size changing every few years.

In the meantime I’m ordering some of their decorations...I love the magnolias!

That’s part of what is holding me back. We have a couple of two story rooms in the house, and I don’t know if I want to go for that size now or just another 8-9 ft one.

guster love Basalm Hill. I went on their site two years ago on Christmas Day to see what I could get on sale for the next year. I didn’t buy anything because I was a little overwhelmed thinking about what would be best. I know we possibly have a few more moves in the next 10 years.

We have one tree that we purchased two years ago, and the quality and the customer service is excellent. I would happily buy all of my Christmas decor from them in the future!

Just put C down for her nap, and when I came out DH was bundling B up to take him out on an errand. All the housework is done, and leftovers for dinner --> quiet time for mom! I think I will make some hot chocolate and curl up with a book.

Also, book rec for anyone interested: Just finished The Dutch Wife (WWII-era) and it was very good.
