I voted. Now I’m home with O. Tomorrow he’ll go back to school and I’ll go back to work. I was thinking, remember when Trump was elected 2 years ago and we had an election thread. There was an n13er who said they were happy that their candidate (trump) had won. Who remembers who that was? Did they never return after that? I wonder what they think of the last two years and whether they have regrets. tallb and cagoldi because I’m pretty sure you both were in that convo. That was elvk. She left because unkind things were said to and about her so she felt this wasn’t the place for her anymore. |

I haven’t talked to elvk in a while but as red as she is I assume she’s still happy with Trump. What I understand is that she voted for him because of his affiliation, I don’t know that she likes him as a person 🤷🏻♀️ I don’t want to speak for her though.

My sister told me yesterday that my niece was diagnosed with strep. The girls stayed with them this evening so of course that puts me on alert. I checked temps after lunch and H has a low one and said her throat hurt, so we will go to the doctor this afternoon. I also have a low fever and my throat has felt a little raw but I thought it was just from drainage coming from my nose.

No one attacked her but there was a lot of vitriol towards trump supporters so indirectly that was her. We talked privately while it was going on. I would have to look back, but I remember it more of "what do you like more? The sexism? Or racism?" But I don't think we were in the wrong. Many people here feel/felt very personally attacked by his words and actions since being elected. And she couldn't defend it aside from financial gain on her part. |

I’ve been like blaaahh lately so I haven’t been reading. 👎🏼 Sorry guys. You know that blah rut ya get into sometimes. It’s lasting to long this time! Lol. My mom will be here tomorrow and we will have a fun weekend with my aunts for Gunner’s birthday so I think that will do the trick! My dude is 5 TOMORROW!  I voted today. There were a lot of amendments on our ballot so I wrote down my answers at home and brought it with me so I didn’t have to re read everything while there with a toddler. Worked well. One of the amendments was about dog racing. So I researched it- and I had no idea of all the abuse that goes on in the sport!! So I obviously voted against it.

Nope, one is already gone and the other has a meet and greet today and they think she will be adopted. I'm not disappointed, because I'm not in any hurry to get a dog, but would look at an adult with a mellow temperament if the right one came along. She and her family stumped for Kasish I believe. Since that didn't work out she stuck to the red. I don't think she will think anything is wrong with Trump then or now. I have a red leaning friend who has been posting on a bunch of FB sponsored ads about how he would buy them if they were American made. America needs more jobs. Emission regulations harm the force etc. |

I'm eating squeaky cheese and debating changing my travel arrangements home. It would involve a shuttle to a little airport so I could very a rental car to drive up the Minneapolis airport very early in the morning, but it would very me in 11 hours earlier so I might do it.

We have two big ones for gun control and training/consequences for police with excessive deadly force. I peaked at the Texas results and for now Beto is ahead!!! Just barely.
