It's funny to see the difference in what foods are acceptable to eat in pregnancy in different countries. I've seen you guys mention a lot about cold meats? I'm assuming that's like sandwich meat. Here it's totally fine to have it lol But all this talk about cheese, reminds me that here, we are stay away from cream cheeses. Not sure about soft cheeses as I only really eat grated cheddar, I'm not adventurous with cheese. Melted cheese freaks out my stomach even what not pregnant lol COld sandwich meat is poopoo'ed on here, but a lot of people still eat it. I was told everything in moderation by my OB, which I definitely take to heart. We can eat any cheese as long as it's pasteurized. In the US you have to really work hard to find unpasteurized cheeses, so really it's anything goes.

I've never had poutine. Is that a FFFC? I live in Virginia so it's not like a popular dish here.
Give me all of the cheese. I love almost all cheeses (except brie).

A pregnant woman comes in and is asking my serving partner if the cheese is pasteurized. I didn't have the heart to tell her it probably wasn't real cheese to begin with and she didn't need to worry lol.

Breakfast was an egg and cheese sandwich. I'm considering fruit salad for a snack because I'm hungry. Lunch will be a hot dog, I think, For dinner we're planning on Chinese takeout.

blabbermouth , your avatar is the reason I just sent MH to go get us donuts right now. My DD was standing next to my laptop and pointed out the donuts and we both decided that we needed them. Perks of H working from home. I caught him before he went to his office he is now out with her picking some up. You're welcome!

We can have soft cheeses as long as they are pasteurized. Thank goodness. Cold cuts are supposed to be heated up due to Listeria concerns.

I'm at lunch at 11 am. I made it. Lol.
I ordered a black bean quinoa burger with avocado, and a side of house made potato chips. I'm starving.

Brie is one of the best cheeses nom nom. I'm not normally a Brie person, but the Nordstrom cafe used to have a turkey sandwich with Brie, arugula, and an apple/cranberry chutney. Omg. So good. Maybe I should try to replicate it.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think someone in Parenting has mentioned these in the past and I decided I could get behind it. I love when my foods can be combined in interesting and delicious combinations.
